Ricky Miller and other transfer targets

Postby DaveLister » 30 Apr 2017, 19:50

Telegraph online tonight reports Posh have had talks. A signing - not definitely Ricky Miller- has been agreed though and will be unveiled by Friday.

GM had little choice but to give Nichols an extended run in the hope he would gome good, he had that chance but failed to take it. Miller appears to be less indecisive in front of goal and could be the part answer to our strikers problem. Looks like he's at the point of signing.....on a free.

Nichols Morias and CMS, not one of them are good enough. I thought Lee Angol would fit the bill but seems to have an attitude problem. So we need 2-3 good strikers for me one experienced and two hungry.

Ricky Miller on a free is worth a shot but I'm not totally convinced a player at 28 is going to cut it in league one just because he scored a load at non league at Dover of all places. Prove me wrong Ricky.
I would have thought Matt Godden from Stevenage was our sort of target. He's out with a broken toe at the moment but should be fit for next season and I bet he would jump at the chance to come here.

Yes DoubleRay but this is from a Chairman who signed, Luke James, Tyrone Barnett and Junior Morias and also thinks Morias is worth keeping over Lee Angol!

A lot of today's culling has been based on attitude hasn't it?

In the case of Angol v Morias, there's literally no contest.

Angol's heart never looks in it, so cheerio.

We should. Local lad. Doubt he'll get picked up by another Champo club. Just about the wages I guess.

If you believe our chairman he only scouts the good players. Responsible for Gayle and Britt but all the others Bazza signed no doubt

Welcome to the club, no doubt some will say he's not good enough not me, I'll wait and see him play.

Troll harder.

Good signing this one, can't see anyone complaining. Local lad and would have been worrying if we'd been beaten to the punch tbh.

Not entirely sure what you mean by this comment, if anything I think people we see you as the troll. I make a sensible comment about some peoples remarks, about our players not being good enough before they even kick a ball.

According to BBC Sport Football (click here) Posh have already been offered £250,000 for Miller.
Whatever next. He doesn't even belong to Posh yet!
