Billy Hails RIP

Post by tonyp » 20 Mar 2017, 12:16

According to the other message board Billy Hails died today.
One of my favourite players and undoubtedly one of the greatest right wingers to play for Posh.
And it's reported in the Telegraph.

RIP Billy.

One of the great 60-61 side that swept aside everything league four had to offer, I do hope the next game at London Road recognises his life. RIP

A wonderful unassuming player and a big part of my early years in the 1950's-1960's. A brilliant "old fashioned" out and out right winger, approachable and a hundred percenter on the pitch. R.I.P. Billy and thanks a million.
