Should be Gillingham v Posh.

Bizarrely Skybet have put us in as favourites for this. Gillingham are poor but...

"It's a tough game but the lads are bubbly in training, etc etc."

Gillingham need the points...We don't appear to care less.

Home win.

The Gillingham fans will probably see this as a "must win" game.
Some of the comments on their message board are similar to things we read on here.
the gills under 12's will be playing peterborough next week anyway. our regular defenders are having next weekend off. they will be wearing bright yellow safety bibs picking up rubbish in gillingham high street with the words splashed on the front and back saying "i'm sorry we let in 8 goals in 2 games".

Whilst I agree with the decision to sack JED, I'm not convinced that the recent run of results or the players he signed is down to him.
The Chairman, Directors and present management have also a lot to answer.

ade said post match they regrouped and now looking forward to the peterboro match and they are good honest boys. more like poor passionless bunch of misfits who will be taking this club of ours down unless we get the 'whip' on them in big way during so called training till the end of the season, bring back boot camp training.

When two teams in the shape this pair are meet up, expect goals. And a random result.

It'll probably be another 11-4

As Chompy said.. "Bizarrely Skybet have put us in as favourites for this."
Gillingham 9/4
Draw 13/5
Posh 11/10

Tim Stoodley in his match preview makes the game sound very attractive to Posh fans!!??
For example-
"The struggling Gills will provide a stubborn and tricky test for Posh"
"Current gaffer Adrian Pennock is an attack-minded coach who takes the philosophy of ‘we’ll score one more than you’."
"The clubs have met on 45 occasions and the spoils are actually split totally evenly at 13 wins each. That makes a draw the most popular result, which has happened 19 times. Peterborough have never won by more than a two-goal margin and neither side has scored more than two goals in the last 12 matches."
"The away ‘stand’ was originally a temporary scaffolding setup, but has been in place many years. It’s completely open to the elements, with no side protection and no roof."
"A pie here will set you back £3.80 while a hot tea costs £2. Brought together that’s 80p more than the League One median."

Never understood why any of these preview merchants think that previous results have any bearing on what's going to happen here.

The last few results count, as most of the players involved will be again, but a 1-1 draw in 1996 is beyond irrelevant to anything.

Started to read the preview to this game but after it started..."McCann hasn't given up on the season"...I couldn't be bothered.

Both teams are in freefall and neither can defend.

The result is irrelevant to both.

I like playing total goals in these spots. 6+ @ 9-1 seems ok.

we'll win 2-1 and McCann will tell us that we need to turn a run of consistent form for the play offs

Seems we're never going to hear it either way.

Sometimes the odd video fails to appear on Posh Player at all. Feels like they need some of this much-touted consistency too.

I just listened to it.
McCann said something to the effect of "take the play-off talk out of it, we just want to finish strongly".
and "if we score first we'll win" "we have a mini season of seven games" I'm sure he was trying to say that we have to win them all. He actually said "we have to try and win as many as we can" and "people are saying we can still make it" [proof that he reads this message board??]
He also said that the chairman owns the club and makes all of the decisions. "Nobody's job is safe". {except his?}.
Most of the talk was about things other than the Gillingham game.
Taylor might play, McGee is likely to play, Maddison will play, Junior is "knocking on the door".Taffazoli is struggling a bit. They're all fighting for a place.
PS this is not supposed to be a transcript of the video. It's just bits I can remember.
