Grant McCann

Postby Chompy » 11 Mar 2017, 17:45

Time for the inevitable post I'm afraid.

Ask yourself this question. Should this squad be in the position they are? If no, whose fault is it?

I'm sorry but I've lost all faith. Things seem exactly the same under him as when he was assistant previously.

It's as simple as this for me. If he stays through the summer we'll be wasting next season too. Enough is enough.

OUT!

I've said before - Westley has taken all the flak for last season. McCann was Assistant Manager/Chief Coach at that time.

Neither was/is anything like good enough. McCann should never have been given the job. Needed to prove his management ability somewhere else in the first instance.

I think he needs another chance.... IF and a big one this if he is given free reign. That's the sticking point for me as I don't think any manager has that at Posh. I think we need a new chairman. 1 who is still interested. It may mfeel like a disastrous idea but it will happen so inevitable. Better to happen now rather than later.

Yes he's doing a great job at Newport. You always seem to blame EVERY manager EVER

I wish people would stop quoting Chompy. There's a reason I blocked him, it's because I don't want to read his tripe.

I thought he sounded deluded in his interview after the game.

We weren't "unlucky" at all...We were well beaten by a far better team.

He'll retains the backing of the chairman but some of the crowd are starting to turn against him.

I will reserve judgement until I see the Mighty Poshies performance at Chesterfield

fortunately for today I had Family commitments, hence missed the commentary

You're obviously expecting the answer to be McCann. That's presumably because he can't manage the hopeless bunch of players he has to work with.
But he also has the burden of having to work with DMac and Barry Fry.
DMac has shown time and time again, during his 10 year reign, that he has no idea how to pick a good manager.
He is the boss and he calls the tune and I think he interferes too much.
Whose fault is it? It's DMac's fault.
The buck stops with him.
He has to stop going for the cheap option when choosing a manager and players.
He made the wrong choice with McCann. Let's hope he chooses better next time.
Being happy never goes out of style.

Why did Grant say there will be a flood of goals in the final 10 games? Silly remark! He seems to build his teams around Lopez and Nichols. For what it's worth my vote is a negative.

Hopeless bunch of players tone?

Don't think so.

What are you basing this on please?

....Not visual evidence that's for sure.

McCann's players ..McCann's team.

The buck stops with him.

He's not up to the job and somewhere down the line he'll lose it

His loan players have been worse than any manager's in living history.
