Let's have some opinions on what we think will happen.

I forecast an 8th-10th finish last August, again in October and again in January 2017, I have not changed my mind. We are too inconsistent and most games have at least 1 or two players not playing to their full potential.

We are 5-1 to make the top six and 20-1 to get promoted.

We're 3-1 to finish in the bottom half.

Ergo we're around a 1-3 shot to finish between 7th and 12th.

All these prices are about right imo.

In Poshay's League 1 Finishing Positions 2016/17 game, I predicted that Posh would finish 13th.
I hope to be proven wrong.

I originally predicted a 12th place finish ; we may finish a few places higher than that but not as high as 6th based on present form.

Think we will or hope we will?

I hope we will but don't think we will. In fact I'm pretty sure we won't.

I'm yet to be convinced we've seen the back of the give-up culture within the squad, and a game a few days after being shown their limitations by t'Blades may be a good time for some 7-2.

Look at the teams above us....

Sheffield United Scunthorpe Bolton and Bradford nailed on for top 6....Millwall are a strong side coming good at the right time, that's 5 so leaves just one place....Fleetwood aren't going away and whilst Rochdale will probably fade you've still got Southend plus there'll always be one or two that put a Barnsley type run together towards the end.

It's not our time....not yet.

I don't see it Bristol...We haven't even threatened to go on a winning run this season. Ultimately it's our home form that's cost us.

The teams that are going well are over our shoulder ....
