Three points we had to get.
Wait for some of those who went to say "Yes but.."

Until we conceded in the first half I thought we sounded as though we were all over them, the brave decision by the referee to book a player already on a booking (I've seen loads of refs turn the other way to avoid sending a player off) certainly had a big bearing on the result. No points for me in the prediction table, thankfully.

All decided by a referee's decision?
I listened on the Shropshire radio commentary - and they said the game was decided by the referee not the players!
The Shrewsbury manager said in the interview after the game that the referee pulled his yellow card out before realising it was a player already booked!
The commentators said that Taff deliberately kicked the ball against the retreating players legs to get him sent off.

Top professional there. And he was not retreating, he was deliberately blocking the free kick.

The PoshPlayer commentators also thought that the ref shouldn't have sent him off.
However, we were the better side anyway. And we won.
I have read about games where teams struggle against 10 men. Going by the commentary, we didn't.

My Nil - 1 prediction was looking good until their lad was sent off. Two scruffy goals took the points but there is still work to do. Edwards deservedly given man of the match, not much else to write home about.

My 2-1 prediction came in. Good performance and a pleasing 3 points. Hopefully we can capitalize on this result and win at Walsall on Saturday. UTP!

He deserved to be sent off for sure, not a brain cell in his head. Was not walking away, stood up straight in front of the free kick, a foot or two away.

Oh dear.

The standard of analysis on here leaves something to be desired.

Not even gonna bother. Pretty sure my thoughts aren't appreciated anyway.

Does this mean we aren't doomed any more?
