I believe that with our away form in general being as strong as it is, if we make the play-offs, not an impossible ask, we are likely to win them. My confidence comes from the fact that we are almost certainly not likely to finish 3rd or 4th meaning we will be away in the second leg, where, if we don't lose the home leg, we'll be in a very good position to go through to an away fixture at Wembley.

The Posh players should watch out for this bloke. Freddie Ladapo who signed on loan for the Shrews from Palace. He has scored 4 in the last 5 games and really should have been someone we should have had. The Shrews are now unbeaten in 6 and won't be pushovers.

they certainly won't be.

they're top of the current form table and had the result of the day on saturday.

we have the come down of playing in front of 10k on saturday...to around 4k and a dreaded tuesday night fixture.

add our shocking home form to that..and it should make for an uncomfortable evening.

Aargh, getting tempted now.

7-2 is becoming of interest, especially as we can factor in a bit of emotional insurance as another season would fade into obscurity with an away win.

Ladapo also interesting at 5-2 to score any time with Bet£3.65.

Posh 10 Shrewsbury 9.
Super to run on to the ground and score 8 of the Posh goals.

Good stuff. Gl with that prediction too. I've wound up backing Shrewsbury at 7-2, purely on value grounds.

We have three games in a week now, including two Tuesday nighters at home. If we're going to have any chance of the play-offs, we'll want 6-7pts, but I have a feeling we'll wind up with 1-2pts.

McGee; Hughes Taff Ball Smith; Forrester Grant Maddison Leo; CMS Angol

Minutes after I posted my blog, McCann came out and said he might freshen things up, so half of my predicted team is probably wrong. :x

McCann's 'freshening up' is usually 1 or 2 changes...so I wouldn't expect too much.

He's come out with his usual stuff...'16 cup finals, we need to sort our home form out' blah blah...

What this team needs is to put a winning run together...but I just can't see our...win one, lose one...run ending anytime soon.

It's been like that all season...Why change the habit of a lifetime.

He'll be getting an aah and an ooh from me unless he gets all 10. 8 goals in 1 game not good enough

Don't see any way Tom N starts again after an off-day and some clowns cheering at the weekend.

Don't see Junior playing an entire 90 yet.

So guess it'll be CMS plus either Angol or Taylor? Can see MM and Taylor being given one more try, but so far it ain't been great.

For those of you who don't read the other board here is an interesting and funny message
We'll play the diamond and therefore lose.
CMS will be given the chance to take a penalty for his 100th goal

And he'll miss.

4119 in attendance, which will please those who sit behind me, as they always grab arms full of the pies which get sold off for a quid at the end of half time when there's a poor crowd.

Now that's what you call confidence!
