Why

The last four times I've been we have either lost or drawn with teams we should have beaten, plus it takes to long for this old body to cope with these days, according to my daughter I'm too fat

0-0 at the break, decent 45 from Posh although McGee has kept us in it. Chances for CMS and Maddison from a free kick, but McCann will be happy at half time.

As ever I'd recommend The Wellington apparently Paul Evers and his gang are going in there

Posh lose 1 nil, but I am very optimistic for the rest of the season (based on listening to the posh.com)

Sheff Utd a top top L1 side. Wish we had a Fleck type.

Still, let's talk about home debuts. Anthony Grant sensational. Knows what he's good at and does it faultlessly. Communication between players seems to have improved a lot too. Guessing him and CMS have had a part in that.

Grant and CMS have improved us a good deal but we're still a level or two below teams like t'Blades.

Reckon we'd win that game maybe once in 20, draw it three or four times, and lose the rest. Difference in class. Didn't mind particularly when they scored. They deserved it and it was an amazing watch those celebrations! Now that's a proper bunch of fans!

Plenty of positives though. Defensively we're sound. Grant will prove an excellent signing. Boy we're light up front though.

Come off it Chompy they were as toothless up front as we were. They scored with a lucky header we should have easily dealt with and they didn't have a decent shot on goal otherwise.. I didn't see any gulf in class at all. We were unlucky to lose but a 0-0 draw would have been a fairer result.

Is Ray really tonyp in disguise...and was he at the game today?

We were deservedly beaten by a bigger stronger fitter...and far better football team. They are top of the league for a reason and will go up as champions.

I thought we did ok...We defended well against two excellent strikers at this level. We weren't overawed in midfield ..an impressive debut by Grant...but Fleck ran the game.

Our problems continue up front though...CMS worked his socks off but our lack of firepower is costing us. We had one shot on target and that was a daisy cutter from Maddison.

No excuses and no complaints today though....We got what we deserved and what I thought we'd get.

Disagree. McGee made a fine save in the first half which their keeper matched in the second and both teams - most notably CMS for us - missed other chances. We deserved a draw but it's not a total disaster.
