Usually all pubs are open in the city centre, so a great choice

football ground guide is as good as any

Doesn't the Peacock admit away fans?

Unlike your fair city, see a pub and I think away fans are welcome.
There's in excess of 8 within walking distance of London Road.

We weren't even allowed the privilege to attempt to misbehave at yours ..... banned by the colour of our shirt

http://www.charters-bar.com/

It will be packed but if they open the outside bar and have the outside heaters on it's the best you'll get to.

The old bill will pack as many in as possible in https://www.jdwetherspoon.com/pubs/all- ... terborough
which isn't the worst Wetherspoons with a good choice of real ales but if you escape them most will take you (no choice  )

Different prep for this game. Good idea. Grant definitely a thinking manager.

Two mentions of needing the crowd to get behind the team in pre-match interview. This crowd has no idea how damaging it's become this season.

This crowd has no idea full stop.

It plays it's part in why we are so poor at home and why the team prefer and are better away from home.

A guy in front of me has been on at Tafazoli all season. I've no idea why and I'm certain he doesn't have a clue either.

Fortress Abax it is not...but getting at them from the start and an early goal or two might wake them up a bit.

Easier said than done Adi, some Posh followers have skin thicker than a rhinoceros. I have attempted it in the past, a young lad who was constantly swearing at a Swindon game, (I'd put his age somewhere between 16 & 20 at the time) because there were loads of women present I suggested he might keep his language down and his mouth shut before I did it for him, instead of stopping he moved seat and I imagine carried on with his foul mouth tirade in another part of the away support.

Not my job or business to have a go at him Wycliffe...

He pays his money an all that.

My point is that it's people like him that aren't helping our players when we play at home...

They don't help themselves either at times...so it works both ways

I expect the only thing the players will hear tomorrow is 4000 noisy Sheff fans.
Anyway most games If I sit in the upper tier of the family stand, and I change seats, the loud moany fans I hear in the first half won't be heard a seat block away so I doubt the players hear any individual barracking.. I'm sure the players are wise to that sort of nonsense of fickle fans now.

Noy my job or business either mate but if he kept doing it and wasn't even intelligent enough to do it at a poor player I'd be tempted to point out what ******** he was talking.

The top 5 scenario's for today to put us all in LaLa Land.
1.Scoring two early goals to shut up their fans.
2.Ye olde Billius Sharpius to get sent off or injured or both.
3.Ye olde Craigy Maigy to get his century today.
4.Junior to come on in the 70th and score a hat trick.
5.Just winning.

Any of those to put us in fool's paradise and enchant an early spring of wonderland and confidence while upsetting the status quo. :comeon:
