An interesting purchase considering he's only ever been a "free" in his career but I suppose the only way we was going to get him was with dosh. He sounds like a no nonsense tough midfielder who will no doubt pick up some yellow cards, a bit like Bossie does. A pity he won't be playing Saturday when we really need him to but then again Vale will be missing a key player.

Club already stated he hopefully will be playing next Saturday.

Yes. It's on the Official site
The 29-year-old has penned a two-and-a-half year contract at the ABAX Stadium with a year's option and will link up with his new team-mates ahead of the weekend trip to his former club. He is able to play against his former club.

Good signing this....Grant is the type of player we've needed for a long time.

Everybody seems to be in agreement on this. Just as most people seem to be disagreeing about CMS.

I have the feeling that CMS will come on as sub on Saturday and score. Mark my words.
