Port Vale v Posh

Postby Chompy » 29 Jan 2017, 02:17

Skybet are first up with prices...

9-4 Port Vale, 9-4 Draw, 11-10 Posh!

This is not a misprint! This is why bookmakers shut so many accounts down these days. They price incorrectly, get knocked over in the rush, and then close down those bold enough to take advantage.

If we were at our best 11-10 would seem pretty thin, but in current form?

Sure we'll hear again about how our great bunch of lads will enjoy playing on such an expansive pitch, blah blah. Yup, more room to go back to McGee, or send it to our main playmakers in the No.5 shirt. Seems the rest have decided Tafazolli is our answer to Tom Brady?

What the hell was that about yesterday?

Tafazolli..LDSL and McGee spent half of the first half playing little triangles with each other.

It was quite pathetic...and smacked of a team lacking in confidence and guidance.

No, nothing like that. The width of the triangle was half the width of the pitch, but only about 2 metres from base to tip.

I wouldn't know. I wasn't there.
But that's not what they called a triangle when I was at school!!

Samuelson and Leo should never play in the same team together. Besides looking 12 they make our midfield look as weak as the tea. They both may have a bit of skill about them but it's sporadic and they lose the ball too much.

Samuelsen isn't developing as a player.

Leo is worth trying at the tip of the diamond. God knows he isn't worth anything like current DMac valuations playing elsewhere.

Well, maybe he should be on loan to a club where he can develop as a player.

LDSL is still developing as a person...let alone a footballer.

Why the hell McCann chose to play him in front of the back four yesterday is beyond belief.

Samuelsen clearly isn't in the same kind of form as he was a year ago....and what a better club to come to to drag him down to everyone else's level.

big question re this game...

will we be playing in that "horrible" yellow away kit that we get hammered in...

or our "lovely" blue home kit that we, erm, get hammered in?

No clash with the Valiants kit, whether it be the blue or yellow one so no reason that the yellow kit should be worn.
