Unfortunately this is no longer an option as other clubs have now jumped on the bandwagon and are paying inflated prices which has priced us out of the market. Even premier and championship clubs are cashing in and we can't compete. The worrying aspect is that we havnt got a plan B and so we resort to just grabbing anyone who resembles a footballer and who cost peanuts. Let's be realistic, how many decent players have we signed from non league football over the last two/three seasons. I can only think of one and that's Forrester. We have certainly taken a punt on so many, especially strikers that just come and go without making any sort of impact.

Forgotten where Maddison came from have we?

So he was telling fibs when he said there would be no activity on January 31st?

That would have been my second guess. Obv sounds like aftertiming now. He looked good against us in the paintpot.

Anthony Grant signs, good news as Bostwick has a broken jaw.
.
Two and a half year deal for the former Port Vale man.

Yuh. Good signing this....Grant is the type of player we've needed for a long time.

I don't see why the club and player can't be named if they are that narked. Perhaps it was more of an enquiry that was simply rebuffed.

According to Darragh....We'd been chasing him since August and everything was done.

They just pulled it at the last minute...and that gave us no time to pursue anyone else.

Very surprised Chettle and Nabi are still here.

I can understand Harry Anderson and Dion-Curtis Henry. Harry was recalled from Lincoln because of his knee injury. Hope he'll be sent out on loan again to a National League side once he's recovered. Henry was recalled from Boston when McGee was injured. If Henry is sent out on loan again to another club, he can't play for posh until next season, which is something the club might want to avoid due to potential injuries.

However, Nabi and Chettle haven't been playing all season. Sounds like Nabi's deal with Port Vale fell through but surely its best for their progression if they were at least on loan somewhere getting game time.

Does anyone believe Nabi or Chettle would perhaps go on loan to a National League club until the end of the season?
