Maybe a chance for him to get his 100th goal for Posh, but otherwise, I can't see the point. Due to his run of injuries, he's not what he was - a legend.

"you fans asked for experience you got some. #neverhappy"

Funny how quickly you can change your opinions about somebody.

Just admit you're selling up at the end of the season ta.

If he's here to coach and inspire you may not get to see him play.
Of course if he does play at Port Vale and scores his 100th goal we'll all be happy. I wouldn't bet on it.
Being happy never goes out of style.

No we won't.

Give it a rest tony.

I've seen him play. When he was at his peak. Long before his last loan spell, when he was a shadow of his former self, and before he failed to get in to the Luton team this season.

It's a joke signing. All he's going to do is damage his legend status.

Get Tommy Robson's old boots out the cupboard, quick. He could make all the difference.

Barry Fry's son in law may well have one eye on being an assistant manager for Posh one day perhaps?

Has it really got this bad?...No offence to CMS but he's barely kicked a ball in anger for a year.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a bit more activity today....Reading between the lines.

A trip down memory lane...This will not be.

I agree, if he's not good enough for a second division side...

Darragh says CMS will pay back his wages if he isn't fit to play. Fair play to the lad for that, but it's not going to score us any goals.

Missing out on Grant is the bad news.

It is too early to write CMS off

If CMS can run at just half the speed he used to, he will still be quicker than certain players at Posh who literally try and walk the ball in the net.

This club has survived for so long on bringing in untried lower league players and selling them on for a profit. Unfortunately this is no longer an option as other clubs have now jumped on the bandwagon and are paying inflated prices which has priced us out of the market. Even premier and championship clubs are cashing in and we can't compete. The worrying aspect is that we havnt got a plan B and so we resort to just grabbing anyone who resembles a footballer and who cost peanuts. Let's be realistic, how many decent players have we signed from non league football over the last two/three seasons. I can only think of one and that's Forrester. We have certainly taken a punt on so many, especially strikers that just come and go without making any sort of impact.

Let's hope you are right but given last season we shouldn't expect too much. Posh fans not expecting too much - funny
