CT5 members should have received their initial email re the unveiling day.
This is for members to confirm their attendance and to confirm their address to enable us to send the official invitation/wristbands.
Please reply to your email ASAP to enable us to make things run as smoothly as possible.
Any questions please email info@thechristurnerstatue.co.uk

Just a reminder.

Take the afternoon off on Friday September 1st for the statue unveiling.

There will be leaflets handed out prior to the Rotherham match and over the next few weeks numerous posters all round town and of course reminders on all social media POSH sites.

It will still be summer holidays so bring the kids, there will be loads for them to do and all FREE.
Children's rides, the various inflatable goals/football skills, face painting, hopefully other children's entertainers and for the adults the venue will be open for 'refreshments'.

Loads of ex POSH players and managers will be coming along who had links to Chris so bring along those autograph books or memorabilia you'd like signing.

The plan is to make the day one for the city to enjoy, even those with no affinity (yet) to POSH but for us fans it is something to really revel in and enjoy.
By the fans for the fans has always been our mantra and having as many POSH there on the day is something we as a committee are desperate to happen.

All starts at 1 PM with Lynne Turner pulling the cloth off this amazing statue at 3pm .

Really hope to see you there.

Only knew Chris later. Wish I'd been there when he was but I wasn't.
So, much like Wembley in 2000, will feel like a gate-crasher but still really looking forward to this very special day :clap2:
We go again...
