Thanks for posting the photo DoubleRay.
ShoreyPosh posted photos on the other message board and said that they could be downloaded free of charge by anyone interested.
Here they are.
Tony, 5th photo in middle column down. White haired lady wife and I............
Good souvenir of the day Brian.
I see you had saved the seat, next to you, for me in case I arrived after all!
A few white and grey haired people in that photo. I would have fitted in well. :)

We used to have a statue of Tyrone Barnett.

No, sorry, that was Tyrone Barnett.

Brilliant unveiling ceremony. Ran like clockwork. Didn't expect anything else really.
Only surprise of the day was seeing Adi stuck for words when presented with his mini statue. :D Gosh they were brilliant.

Again, well done to the Committee and everyone concerned :clap2: :clap2:

It wasn't me who hadn't got one. It must have been someone else you are thinking about. I just posted that link for those who were unable to get there.

p.s. Well done in the extreme mate over the past 18 months or so. I know that it was not just down to you to get this over the line. There was a whole committee behind you but without you cracking the whip we would still be scratting about with probably only £30,000 in the kitty! Pass on our congratulations to Cass too. That girl must be a bloody trooper!

I'm sure Caz is sooo grateful

She's a diamond, for sure :clap2:

Been passed London Road, and Chris, a few times since Friday. It's lovely to see that he's clearly able to be seen from the road and there's been someone there looking each time.
We go again...

Yeah, Adlam saying there has been lots of visits, sure there will be even more on Saturday.

We really want it to be somewhere for people to say "Meet you at Chris"

Landscaping and lighting over the next month or two.
The work for the committee hasn't stopped yet.

You never stop do you!? I guess that Caz will have to go on the backburner again for a few weeks!

Some amazing numbers congregating round the statue area yesterday and a great number touching Chris' foot for luck.
It may be an idea on Tuesday to touch the opposite one if you did it
Thank you to everyone I spoke to who commented on the statue.
