Maybe they'll let us win.

Maybe , Posh are more than capable of winning , against a team just a point above us.
Let's at least hope so.

The fascinating thing, if slightly annoying is that none of us know what kind of performance we are likely to put in, but if you take away our cup goals the problem is the drying up of goals in comparison to the first 5,6 games, it appears we will need at least two to get anything as we give so many gifts away at the back

This game is likely to be won and lost in the technical area ...Where we have the all singing dancing formation changing rookie that is McCann...up against the experience and know how of jackett.

Pompey had over 18000 to watch their game on Saturday (against the mighty Southend) so they will be expected to bring quite a few to the Abax. It's going to be a mild night temp wise so could be an higher than average attendance for Tues night. I think Posh could grab a win purely because of our need to do just that, if that makes sense.
And of course to shut up the doom mongers.
Pompey fans might even outnumber Posh!
Portsmouth Official
Tickets are still available for Pompey's match at Peterborough on Tuesday evening.
Blues fans have already snapped up around 800 seats for the London Road contest.
Supporters can also visit the cash turnstiles or main ticket office at Peterborough on the evening of the game.

The Portsmouth fans find their team frustrating as well.
The Fratton Faithful
Tomorrow's game is a huge test of Pompey's possible promotion credentials as any good League One side will take advantage of Posh's erratic form, which has seen them win just one of their past eight league games, although that was against surprise league leaders Shrewsbury.
Tuesday nights haven't been kind to Portsmouth in general when it comes to away games and thus, failure to beat Peterborough will have fans claiming that the same old predictable Pompey won't be able to achieve anything this season.
His Prediction-
I have a bad feeling about this game for some reason. Pitman may score again but it's that "Tuesday night disappointment" feeling that I simply can't shake. I hope I'm proved wrong!

Literally no point trying to predict what the current mob will do.

Turn up and hope for the best is all we can do.

Luke McGee...good, mixed or bad reception?
Just as some idiots will boo and whistle an opposing teams national anthem , so too will idiots give a bad time to
one who once served us well
It shows neither humour ,wit or respect
But merely confirms that negativity derives from ignorance and stupidity

The only thing I'm clinging to here is that Pompey arrive in good form having won 3 on the spin.

Put us up against a team on a long losing run...no clean sheet for 2 months...manager less or in the bottom 4 then we're toast.

That's just reminded me who we play on Saturday....

I hope that McGee will get a good reception when he walks on to the pitch.
He might attract a few boos if he stops a Maddison penalty!

Kenny will be licking his lips at the prospect of a midweek trip to Fortress ABAX.

Keep the wing-backs, who aren't wing-backs, pegged back, mark MM out of the game and flood midfield.

We all know what happens next.
