Peterborough United v Rochdale

REFEREE: CHRISTOPHER SARGINSON

ASSISTANT REFEREES: Stuart Butler and Thomas Ramsey

Fourth Official: Michael George

Christopher Sarginson is the referee for this game. He's predominately found in League Two and hasn't officiated in our league this year. He's experienced though and has been in the football league for nine years, never making it above League One. He's been in charge of 28 games this campaign and has averaged 3.1 cautions per game. He's shown red on four occasions across the same number of matches. The last time he refereed Posh was back March 2016 when we lost 3-1 away to Bury. Sarginson sent off Ricardo Santos that day for two cautions. Michael Smith, Jack Baldwin and Michael Bostwick also saw yellow. He hasn't been to The ABAX since October 2014, when 'Boro drew 2-2 with Oldham.

Brett Huxtable has refereed 30 games this season. He has dished out 105 yellow cards and only 2 reds.
What's the betting that Anthony Grant gets at least one yellow on Saturday?

Gillingham v Peterborough United

REFEREE: BRENDAN MALONE

ASSISTANT REFEREES: Christopher Wade and Rob Smith

Fourth Official: Louis Marks

Brendan Malone takes the whistle for this one. He’s an experienced referee in his seventh season on the football league. This campaign he’s officiated 26 games, showing yellow 102 times – that’s an average of nearly four cautions per match. He’s also sent off three players this term. He’s taken charge of both sides already this season. He was the main man for ‘Boro’s 1-1 away draw with Southend, with Andrew Hughes and Chris Forrester seeing yellow. Before that he took charge of the Gills, at Priestfield, when they beat Bury 2-1 in August.
