Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

mrs marriott has now realised that her new brexit minister is dimmer than the previous one

and like a good mother hen has said "all right I will do it myself"

still mr raab thinks stockpiling food is a good idea

i wonder why the brexiteers never put that on the side of the buses?

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

yes i can see how most of the figures work, although i think liverpool population is almost double that of bristol 880 v460k (both big major cities of course so probably not very relevant) on the figures you supply, your conclusion seems reasonable, although from long experience , i am always nervou...

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

I dont argue with your figures and possibly not with your conclusion, but what is the source of your information? my main reason for asking is that liverpool is not merseyside , and vice versa merseyside has some of the wealthiest areas (wirral, and sefton) in england, and the numbers might easily b...

Re: Players who have DEFINITELY SIGNED

The genuine hope for all of us is that our manager makes the team better than the sum of its parts. That’s what genuinely good managers do There is a need to get the mindset right, the team spirit right and to get the players working for the same end. Clough did it Shankly did it Sir Alex did it Ste...

Mrs m ‘s cunning plan seems to have fallen apart in just over a week

Just as well she is strong and stable

Mr Corbyns incompetence will probably come to her rescue

Re: Transfer RUMOURS OUT

if someone can tell me that that is good management , then i would love to hear how it can be

why sell(?) him if he is taken to portugal.?

it will almost certainly suit him to play in the north west, so for him it could well be a partly good move, but to go down two divisions seems pretty contrary

Re: Players DEFINITELY LEFT

I'm hoping he helps them down the table...Like most good Posh fans should. its never occurred to me that to be a "good Posh fan" that I should wish ill upon a local rival, or indeed any other club. It's never occurred to me either that anybody should feel they know best as to how I should behave an...

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

I do not believe that there is substantial evidence for what you say The pound had steadily devalued for the twenty years prior to our joining in 1973, what had been 4 dollars tot he pound in the 1940s had dropped to 2.40 by 1968 and still continued to fall. There was no immediate drop after we join...

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

i believe the real question is where is the evidence that we will not be worse off? I believe there is no realistic evidence, just wishful thinking already the devalued pound is costing us far more than the £130 pppa cost of being in the EU inward investment , I understand was 60% of all inward inve...

We are still leaving the EU next March 2019 though thank goodness.
I don’t think that that is in doubt

However nobody who I know who has voted Brexit has been able to quantify the benefits that we will be losing

This largely because they do not understand the benefits
