Re: Rant of the day

Raheem Sterling and John Barnes have this week emphasised the omnipresent nature of what black people experience perhaps on most days. These two Jamaicans will be laughing all the way to the bank. What sort of life would they have had if they had stayed in their native land with its drug and gun cu...

Ft, 2-2 it is. One win in six against the might of Bradford, Oxford and Shrewsbury.

Meanwhile, Doncaster won 3-0 today to sneak into the playoff places. Whatever happened to their manager?
i think he drew four games on the trot

Re: Rant of the day

I'm just watching a programme on BBC1 called Defenders, they're on about knife crime. They were discussing the case of a young boy who was walking away from a fight in a pub, three assailants chased him down the street and stabbed him to death. The police caught the perpetrators who all received a ...

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

so we are agreed.

Mrs Thatcher was indeed responsible (as Secretary of State for Education) for stopping the milk for primary children (between 7 and 11).

that was why she was given the soubriquet "milk snatcher"

presumably there is no further need for me to check my history books

End of.....

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

The 'milk snatcher' as you call her was the greatest Politician, apart from Winston C. that we ever had the pleasure of having as Prime Minister. I wish she was alive today. Bresxit would have been done and dusted months ago. Please look into your history books as Maggie did not actually make the d...

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

You say it was sorted by the milk snatcher

I say she started the deindustrialisation of Britain and caused the great schism between south east and the rest

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

Not for one moment would I say that all brexit voters are racist although a number of ukip supporters are clearly of that persuasion especially when farage seems as too much that way Many of them however have not thought things through Yes we spend net about 8.5 billions into the EU but get so much ...

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

We intend to 're-write' the Human Rights Act to include amongst many things the right to deport convicted/known Terrorists with or without a family which at present we are not allowed to do. It's only a minor detail of course but the European convention for human rights (and hence the human rights ...

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

it is the same level of speculation that I posted on this website a couple of weeks before the referendum. it was mocked for being part of "Project Fear" In due course it happened as predicted. Inflation has risen as a direct and immediate result of that. We are poorer as a result I do not doubt it ...

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

Can you explain why you consider that not leaving the EU would be better than the unknown we are already poorer because of the devaluation of the pound by 15% two days after the referendum if we did not leave , then immediately the pound would rally but there is so much more benefit from staying
