Re: Posh v Tranmere Rovers FA Cup

Back on topic-
The referee for tonight's game is Michael Salisbury.
He has handed out 34 yellows and only 1 red so far this season.
So, Maddison should be OK with his play acting and even Grant should be safe.

Re: Posh v Blackpool

The referee for this game, Trevor Kettle, has officiated at 16 games so far this season and has dished out 57 yellow and 3 red cards.
No doubt Maddison and Grant will be vying for the first yellow in this game.

Posh v Blackpool

From the Blackpool Official site
Next Up: Peterborough United (A)
Manager Gary Bowyer will be looking for his side to bounce back from a couple of disappointing results of late and rediscover their early season form.
Sounds familiar!

Penfold would be miles behind Kanu in terms of development....

He's never kicked a ball for us in a competitive game...and has struggled to get regular game time at Biggleswade and Boston.

Nowhere near ready to step up.
Never heard of him.

Re: FA Cup 2nd round

I have my fingers firmly crossed in the pub tomorrow, but only the hand that isn't holding the pint :clap2: I'll be watching the Tranmere game in my rumpus room. But, as it starts at 4:45 am, I'll have coffee in my spare hand. I'll be using the other hand to count our goals so we can't exceed the 5...

All we have to do is win and most of us will be happy.
Especially Bristle who will be able to go to Woking.

For me a possible visit to Woking, I certainly couldn't force myself to go to Lancashire
Woking it is then.
Only if we demolish Tranmere, of course.

Re: superposh80 Posh have to play midweek games same as all clubs. It's no good saying we could do without it or being a doom and gloom merchant. They train during the weekdays as you know. Besides it might all come good. I'm aware of that. My point is...This Replay is a game we don't need. We shou...

Re: AFC Wimbledon v Posh

Just seen on Facebook - more uproar over Maddison feigning injury at Wimbledon than over Miller drink driving and assaulting a police officer. It could be that the Maddison bit was more recent and more topical and more football related. I doubt that anybody believes that pretending to be hurt by an...

Re: laughs of the day

A husband asks his wife, "Honey, if I died, would you remarry?" "After a considerable period of grieving, I guess I would. We all need companionship." "If I died and you remarried," the husband asks, "would he live in this house?" "We've spent a lot of money getting this house just the way we want ...
