A question of drinking

What do you get for £1.89 a pint? Anyway, can you even get a pint of Coke for £2 a pint in a Weatherspoons? £4.20 a pint of Old Rosie I was drinking tonight in the Applecart. I was drinking Ruddles Best, only 3.7%. Old Rosie is a cracking cider but sadly generally overpriced, even from their own fa...

Re: Easier drinking

....Why do you want a crap overpriced beer at half time when you've already had half a dozen for £2 a pint at wetherspoons pre match and you've spent most of the first half in the toilet anyway? My bladder is terrible, I get up every night about three times, but at Plymouth the other week despite m...

Re: Easier drinking

I think most of you are missing the point At present this is the selection of beers on offer, around most of the ground. I personally very rarely have a beer at London rd, as the queues are too long. So yes I would rather different selections, but this is a good incentive to shorten the queues well...

Re: Music on the brain.

I've since listened to Shostakovich's 5th and Richard Marshall triple tonguing on the Dyke soloists album (open goal for Bristle there) but those darned clarinet themes are still buzzin. Not at all, I have nothing against Classical music, there is some wonderful stuff to listen to. To every listene...

Kopparberg for the cider drinkers.
I don't like creamy beer so Tetleys is off the menu, I know nothing of lagers, but to call Koppaberg a cider is like calling Elton John straight.

Re: Easier drinking

I'm pleased I don't go, what a diabolical selection, one of the worst lagers as I understand it, a not very clever ale and something that purports to be a cider but is anything but.
