Re: This season

Post Wigan, 9 games gone 20 points secured, just ahead of target, great passion, football and support being shown :comeon: :clap2: Great thread this, Stuie. I've now started looking at which other teams are averaging 2 points per game and there are only four others at the moment. Shrewsbury, Bradfo...

Re: Poshies v Wigan

Myself, Ashman and Jimbo have all gone for the same line-up. Incred scenes. Of course I was in first and the other pair just copied mine, but that's by the by. Wrong. Jimbo has gone for Forester in front of Doughty. My team and your team do correlate however! McCann might consider starting with For...

Re: Oldham v Posh

ClubCall Oldham boss Sheridan expects position to come under threat after Rotherham loss. "I am not someone who has a go at my players, I am going to blame myself. I am going to blame myself for picking the wrong players, picking the wrong team, being too loyal. "Being too loyal to people and not g...

Posh 3 v Wigan 2

Wigan manager Paul Cook says Peterborough have done a lap of honour to their supporters at the end of the game, I’ve never seen that before in a league game when a team’s won and that’s what it’s like to beat Wigan. Good luck to Peterborough, they’re a good side, they’ve got good players, I’ve got n...

Re: Oldham v Posh

Anybody remember the good old days when we used to pick 8 games that would end in a draw? (Littlewoods or Vernons?)
It was quite amazing how often a bottom team would manage a draw against a top table club, especially at home.
Just saying, like.
I'm still going for Oldham 2-4 Posh.

Re: Luke McGee

Luke McGee wouldn't have done anything to enhance the clearly evident team spirit that we've got this season. I'm glad we didn't keep him. And it ain't often that you'll hear me say that  :comeon: :comeon: Well said nipper. It's just a shame that we may soon be going through the same rigmarol...

A great day for the club...I thought a win today could define our season and hopefully it will.
Me too.
As I said Wigan will be vying with us for an automatic place if we continue to play then way we did in the second half yesterday.

Re: Oldham v Posh

What we don't want is the lame performance we put up at their place last season. We're second...They are bottom and we need to be at them from the start. Anything less than 3 points will be a failure. We won't win every game this season. But this should be a walkover. Anthony Grant will be missing ...

Posh 3 v Wigan 2

Let's Hang On seem to think that Wigan should have won!! Wigan Athletic’s failure to convert a multitude of first-half chances proved crucial in the second-half as they slipped to a narrow 3-2 defeat at Peterborough United. Latics went into the interval 1-0 up but it could so easily have been five ...
