Re: Grant McCann - Manager

when you get facile comments like "DMac has shown that he's not up to the job" I would ask which chairman in league football is actually "up to the job" in this respect?? please name ones who do naturally fit the paradigm our chairman inherited a club which I believe was lower mid table fourth divi...

Re: January japery

The constant vitriol that pleasureboy60 has for Dmac suggests to me that in no way shape or form is he a Posh supporter. Either that or he is a very jealous and bitter man. I would accept that Darragh is a gambler ( what chairman isn't? ) and in some of his acquisitions has certainly paid off and s...

Re: Grant McCann - Manager

If DM keeps his words, the manager will be assessed at the turn of the year. Whatever happens, the supporters will have no other option than to get behind the manager. I agree with you Ceenitall. DMac did say (or at least implied) that he wanted us in the top six by the end of the year. I think he ...

Re: January japery

I still feel the chairman is more interested in making a quick buck buying and selling players than he is gaining promotion. The wheels have long fallen off his sell on wagon and he doesn't have a plan B. We are a mid table ,division 1 team, with mid table ambitions and that's where we will stay unl...

There's other Clubs that would have Darragh in a heart beat.
Nobody knows where we'd be without him.
Nobody knows but most of us are pretty sure we'd be up the proverbial creek.

Re: Grant McCann - Manager

As a "starry eyed juvenile supporter" with my blue tinted specs still firmly in place, I'd suggest they're your own opinions and not shared by all supporters. Quite right nipper. I'm still waiting to see what other supporters' opinions are. All I've seen so far is "Sack him" or very similar. (Not f...

Grant McCann - Manager

In another thread 'Even the starry eyed juvenile supporter would know Posh need a Manager'. And who is going to find this Manager? DMac has shown that he's not up to the job. And/or he is prepared to give McCann more time Until someone comes up with a name who would be prepared to work for/with BF a...

Re: January japery

We can't sell Marriott and we need to keep Gwion. If Maddison or LDSL has to be sold in order to balance the books then so be it. Unfortunately every player has a price and with our greedy chairman, money talks! DMac could hardly be called greedy. He has put in much more than he has taken out. I hop...

Re: Poshies v Blackburn

And who is going to find this Manager?.... Though the fact remains it is not the supporter's problem. The owner states he wants success, is he sincere....does he mean it? If he does then he needs a manager, one who will not put up with his interference. (and that is where the problem lies) Correct.

with betfair Posh are 1/3, 1/10 without the draw. I think 11/2 Woking without the draw is a good shout
What do you mean "without the draw"?
Skybet are
Posh 2/5
Draw 19/5
Woking 13/2

I wouldn't be backing Woking.

Re: Woking replay

Presumably Baldwin misses this, any truth what I was reading about Grant suffering a concussion and missing this game. If true I think we can forget a trip to Birmingham. I assume Chettle is still injured, what has happened to Borg, surely he can't be as bad as Leo and YaYa. Got to be Bond, Penny, ...
