Re: This season

My fear is that, if that were the case it wouldn't be just McCann going, we would go into liquidation, a points penalty would follow and we would start next season with another at the foot of league two. At least I could look forward to trips the following season to Eastleigh and Torquay. That woul...

Re: Time to go

I don't think it really matters who gets the next posh managers job. If he is not allowed a free reign , then nothing will ever change. There has been far too much interference from our chairman over the last 2/3 seasons, coupled with this endless policy of bringing in untried non league players. D...

Re: New striker?

If the window was open I'm pretty sure that he'd have opened his wallet and bought a striker. Our problems though are borne from bad decision making.... From Chairman down to manager down to individuals on the pitch. Until we get that right....It doesn't matter what he does or doesn't spend I agree...

Re: This season

Generally speaking the buck stops with the manager.
Not at Posh.
Here the buck stops with the owner. Because that's the way he likes it.

Re: New striker?

As has already been said.... We can't sign a player either on loan or permanent from another League club until January. So we have no choice but to go non league. :stupid: It was me that said it. We can't afford a League 1 striker come January. So we have to scour the non leagues again. DMac doesn'...

Re: New striker?

All our own doing this. We go into the season with 4 strikers all untried at league one level. One gets injured...One the manager doesn't fancy...One's 17...Just leaving Marriott. Now we are having to scour the non leagues again for a goalscorer . We can't afford a League 1 striker come January. So...

Our best striker came from that source. It's the best way to go imo.
:stupid:
As long as it works out we can't very well complain.
And we can't afford a league 1 striker.

New striker?

Here we go again? Looking to import lower league players? According to Alan Swann Posh show interest in National League strikers Peterborough United have shown an interest in Leyton Orient striker Macauley Bonne. A source close to the player contacted the Peterborough Telegraph today (October 22) in...

Re: This season

Sorry Stuie... but I don't get these posts. It's not about how many points we're averaging....it's about how many games we're losing. If we carry on losing....McCann will get sacked. About mid December I reckon. Darragh did say January but I don't believe half of what McBlarney says anyway I believ...

Re: Time to go

I'd be surprised if McCann is still here come the end of the year. He's not a good enough manager to get Darragh where he wants us to be. Once the home gates start to drop off...and they have already...and the ten game ST holders don't renew, that will be the end for him. :stupid: If we keep losing...

6-5 Posh, 21-10 Shrews, 23-10 Draw.

Looks like Skybet pulled their opening prices out of a bingo machine.

Think there might be a bet here...
it should be the other way round...and probably will be nearer to kick off.

I'm getting my money on now.
