of those 6871 members the majority are either porn sites or people who have forgotten their log in details   Good one bristle. Seriously though, maybe we should cancel the membership of the 6000 or more who have never posted more than once. They can still read the board if they are intere...

I forecast on this website that the pound would drop not less than ten percent in May 2016
I forecast on here and on the other board that Boris Johnson would be PM after Theresa May. I was shouted down.
Has it been decided yet?

That doesn't help. The present deadlines are spot on. 3 hours for score and scorer predictions and one hour for attendance.
You obviously mean spot on for you.
It's not necessarily spot on for everybody else.
Don't you like others having an opinion?

Re: Cricket World Cup

Just talking about the result again.
I saw a suggestion that as it was tied after the super over the cup should remain with the previous holders - Australia.
Sounds like a good idea to me.

We know what he can do and the talent he has. For heaven’s sake, let’s give him as much of a chance as we do to the rest of the team. He could arguably be the best signing we have made.

Re: Attendance Predictions 2019/20

It doesn’t worry me either way but if there is a tropical storm in Peterborough about three hours before kick off, or a massive accident on the roads around the ground preventing people from attending them it does give local punters a better chance of guessing closer than those s like me and Tony w...

Re: PREDICTION LEAGUE 2019-2020

I think Tony is suggesting that no changes or new entries within the last 24 hours? Are you Tony? Yes that is what I suggest. It wouldn't make it any harder for Suffolkposh. People would have no valid reason to leave it until just before kick off and it would be fairer to those in different time zo...

Re: Cricket World Cup

All these ifs and buts. This wouldn't happen in real cricket.
England won and that's the end of it.

Bring on the Ashes!

Re: PREDICTION LEAGUE 2019-2020

I think we should consider-
Entries can be submitted (or changed) at any time prior to 24 hours before kick off.

Re: Attendance Predictions 2019/20

Any thoughts on making the prediction time limit earlier, say 6 hours? Good idea. It would be fairer for people who have no way of knowing what is going on to affect the attendance, to at least see what others, who do have an idea, are predicting. It is only a game. People who predict with inside k...

Re: Cricket World Cup

New Zealand should have been the winners. They lost less wickets. But who is complaining? Not us Englishmen! No they shouldn't! They lost because the scores were level and England had scored more boundaries, as according to the rules of the competition! Welcome back Tony as a true blue Englishman! ...

Re: Cricket World Cup

I keep trying to spot him in "Harrow" on TV but to no avail. Perhaps he's out bird watching for sandpipers. Could well be away for 3-4 days on a well deserved short break in Aussie land, and is not close to a terminal. Got it in one Brian. The only terminal I've been close to was the Brisbane...
