Re: Cricket World Cup

England posted just less than 400 thanks chiefly to Morgans record 6 hitting but then failed to bowl Afghanistan out as their previous opponents have done. A win by 150 runs is OK but the team management must be concerned about the ineffectuality of their attack when they come up against teams stro...

London killings

Donald Trump has castigated the mayor of ...

Re: Cricket World Cup

What a great display by Bangladesh today!
I'm a bit worried about how Australia will handle them now.
The top four is not certain after all.

India appear to be the team to beat.
I think so as well.
Top four is likely to be New Zealand, England, Australia and India.
Whoever meets India in the semi finals is going to have a hard game, in my opinion.

You (trevormans) must learn to use the quote button properly.
He must use the English language properly as well.
"Then you would perhaps of had a different opinion"
When he means perhaps have had.

Re: Security

Hadn't noticed this but it appears in the address line for me too. I'll pop down to the club on Monday and have a word with Chris Brewer who is the 'expert' on the forum. He may of course be on holiday but I will do my best to see what is going on. Thanks for bringing this to the board's attention....

Re: Security

I too have it appear every time I log in and have done since the new Format. I have checked with several 'switched on' tech boys and all they say is 'do not worry' about it. Cannot say I feel 100% comfortable with it though. I feel the same. Apparently attackers can discover your password which wou...

Re: Security

Thanks for replying Nick.
It would seem that everybody must get the same message.
It is worth reading the replies I received to the same question on the other board.

Womens' football is a sexist construct. There should not be separate competitions for men and women if , as women say, they should be treated equally.
I suppose you would have them share dressing rooms as well.

Security

For some time now I have been getting the message NOT SECURE when I log on to the official forum. http://www.theposhforum.co.uk/index.php This is on safari and on google chrome. Anybody else get that message? I've just ignored it but today it said "you should not enter sensitive information because ...

Unfortunately, the Tories are a gang of idiots, with Johnson being the biggest.
Well that confirms who will be the next PM.

mmm. You once posted on the other site you always supported your country of birth in football
Don't you start! I have enough trouble with Wycliffe on this subject. :)
I support England in football and cricket and tiddlywinks except when they are playing Australia.

Re: Women’s World Cup

It's the Women's World Cup and the standard of football is definitely NOT woeful. And it's nothing like golf. well it is woeful and guess what I do know the difference between the two sports. Who are you supporting in this? Australia of course. Only because the standard of Women's football is not w...

I am not clear of the accuracy of the claim that most Londoners thought he did a good job As ever it would be good to quote the source YouGov https://yougov.co.uk/topics/politics/articles-reports/2016/05/05/mayor-boris-public-verdict His approval rating has been remarkably consistent during his sec...
