Re: Boris Johnson

I can think of many qualities he has over and above that lefty has on the other side, he’d have us sign up to the Soviet Union (if there still was one). I always thought David Blunkett should have been leader, then it really would have been the blind leading the blind. A lot of people thought you c...

Boris Johnson

This country's going to ruin.

That said, this could be the straw that breaks the camels back.

Riots and general mayhem - bring it on.

Strange goings on with Twitter today. Anyone else think Matty Godden is going back to Stevenage???
Why, what's been said? I've just read Godden's account and nothing on there :?

Re: The Trump Protests

Aha, you're a Leave voter. You can spot them a mile off. Self-centred racists.

I look forward to the day when you have to pay £50 just to see a doctor and then find several grand if you need any further treatment afterwards.

Leavers should be made to wear a badge so we can all stop and point.

Re: The Trump Protests

Do you go out of your way to misread topics. No way did I champion TR. as for bundling the others under the same umbrella is ridiculous. I suppose you’d prefer the Anti Semite, IRA, Commy lover to have the keys to our democracy . Loser. Which 'news' paper did you get your info from that Corbyn is a...

Re: The Trump Protests

So my spell checker doesn't work oops I see today she has been named as a nurse who apologise for calling the protestor Nazi Scum, erm, no, I think it's I'm sorry I got caught. Your claim Adie that both sides are as bad as each other is biased, the left are far worse, because whenever the right wis...

Re: New Players

first spotted in 2017 when we played a friendly at Cheltenham Town when ex Cheltenham Town player Grant McCan was the our manager, nothing to do with your beloved Evans  So you're saying we went for him when McCann was manager, when Evans was manager & when Ferguson was manager. Hmmm, seems t...

I have been reliably informed that we have just signed Mo Eisa from Bristol City for a club record fee. Wowzer now mr Gaz I have seen him play, against Posh and he was superb.
Yep, good player.

As he was spotted last summer, he is effectively an Evans signing

Re: Cricket World Cup

England off to the worst possible start with Bairstow's first ball duck but then set a decent target. The difference between the two teams was England's brilliant fielding and their latest foreign import. Both teams had Asian spinners as seems to be the trend . Stokes catch was incredible. I went t...

Britt Assombalonga was a Fergie signing was he not?? Grant McCann also?
McCann was Gary Johnson, as was Tomlin after Fergie had said he didn't want him.

Fergie also let Russell Martin go to Norwich after preferring to play Charlie Lee out of position at right back.

Whelpdale, Keats, Charlie Lee, Joe Lewis, Paul Coutts, Sergio Torres, Tommy Rowe, Gabby Zak, weren’t too shabby certainly better than the majority of Evans signings. There have been many others.
Keates & Joe Lewis I'll give you.

Re: New Players

None taken, I just go by what others say. Last season I thought we'd cracked it when we signed all those players, but I was wrong as I generally am. The difference this year to the last, is that the chap who is doing the signing has a better track record of picking up the cream from the lower level...

Re: New Players

It's all looking quite good at the moment, but then again I say that every season No disrespect, but why is it looking good? Unless you've seen the players we've signed on a regular basis you can have no idea what they're like. At the moment, we have signed five lower league players - that's it.
