Re: Players who have DEFINITELY SIGNED

Must admit when DM boasted how much money he had spent thus far this summer I had to chuckle. Though factually true, he knows his bank account is likely to start £5-7M up come August. There is no way either will be here when we kick off so I assume the new arrivals, particularly up front haven't sto...

Re: Players DEFINITELY LEFT

Totally agree, after what happened he was never going to come back here and thankfully he can't come back to haunt us, but unlike chompy, I do have a sneaky suspicion he will score bucket loads in league 2, anyone wgo smashes Vardys Conf record and in less games must be a decent player. Interesting ...

Re: Ricky Miller

The lad obviously has 'demons' he finds hard to control, and as I come from a family who has also has to deal with relatives suffering similarly, one tragically, I can with much pain, relate to the consequences only too well. Have to say though didnt know about his brother that on it's own must have...

Re: Players DEFINITELY LEFT

I find it a staggering deal. DM still drooling about the lad and of course everyone wishes him well but if he couldn't shine in Div 1 just can't see how he will do so in the championship.
Great move for him though and at this rate Mr Chairman will soon have enough money to buy the ground!

Junior Morias to Lincoln seems possible.
Not to.mW it doesn't Chompy, whilst he will for into the Cowley's work rate ethos, I just don't think the lad is good enough. Not sure where or what level the lad will be playing next year to be fair.

Re: Transfer rumours IN

Thats so unfair on the lad, or could be as surely we have absolutely no idea on what amount he asked for. Clearly too much for DM that's obvious, but it certainly doesnt mean he was being greedy....does it?

Re: Retained list

He has a proven track record, unlike our previous three lolmanagers, and the last lolsquad. I have no interest in anything anti-Evans and you haters need to get over yourselves and just enjoy the ride, end of. We all want Evans to do well and he should as clearly he is also a very lucky manager in ...

Re: Shrewsbury away

I am nowhere near the stage where I am going to rip into Evans anymore than i was with GM, but quite how or why you defend him so blindly Chompy and more, the enthusiastic gusto in which you are totally escapes me. You claim these games didn't mean anything which to me is quite absurd as up until th...

Re: Summer business

Did I read that Leo's contract runs out in the summer, which if true staggers me after the continual droolings of Mr Chairman. Without contributing to a pay off or partial pay up of contracts though many other's, Penny, Ward, Kanu, Miller, Anderson and a few more are all going to be hard to move on ...

Re: Posh v Rochdale

I thought a prerequisite of any Evans teams, would have been graft commitment, as clearly with many this isnt happening, even those he picked never minds the one he's dropped would you say its the players or managers fault? The interesting bit for me is how SE may fair if we keep JM & MM (please) an...

Re: Posh v Rochdale

Doesn't. Matter how you look at it or whose fault it was, against a poor but battling side we never looked like winning and considering the stakes, that hurts and too me I mark this one done as the equal of any DM catastrophes. Am mortified. Really thought, even though as an old fart with old fashio...

Re: Poshies v Bristol Rovers

I dont get the call for Junior's return to be fair. Yes he had a decent scoring spell prior to his injury, and the lad was asfaultless thereafter in attitude and commitment to get git asap as he cleaely was pre season in his determination to shed some ppunds, butt romance aside I just dont think he ...

Re: Shrewsbury away

There will surely be a blanket cancellation of matches at the weekend including ours. Even if the pitch is playable the H&S executive will be on call telling us the ground and stadium hasnt been cleared, and surrounding areas and roads are too dangerous and on a scale of 1-10 of it being on my money...

Re: All aboard the Steve Evans express, woo woo!

I agree with Beststag, there is little doubt that Evans will bring some solidity in both formation and tactics, but if I was a player am not sure if I would want to be left out of his first team selection as from all accounts he rarely changes the personnel. But surely he will bring discipline and t...
