Re: Poshies v Bristol Rovers

Saying we must expext inconsistency is like putting in the ready excuses before we even kick a ball. I can't believe after bringing in a completely new squad, all of his choosing he is being so pessimistic. Maybe that's why I will never take to the man, I find him quote obnoxious and it worsens ever...

Re: Players DEFINITELY LEFT

People are at it again, true he wasn't my favourite but why are so many so dismissive when players leave. Didn't last season prove how little difference there is between NL and Div 1/& 2? He will probably earn more at Salford than he did here, and 13 goals for a winger ain't half bad in my books. **...

Re: Transfer RUMOURS OUT

Why do supporters tend to play down a players ability once they have left?
I am gutted to see Gwion go and am sure with his talent he will do very well, and personally I think if it is a £1m Ipswich have got a bargain. Given the choice , i would probably rather buy him for £1m than MM for £2m+

Re: Players DEFINITELY LEFT

I so hope the lad does well, he deserves it of only for the wonderful attitude he showed last summer and his commitment shown throughout his time here. But still can't see him being a 20 goal striker even in L1, perhaps half of that ? Miller on the other hand, with the polar opposite attitude, certa...

Re: Players who have DEFINITELY SIGNED

One thing for sure, with 13 new players, the season at worse is going to be very interesting indeed, am getting really excited.
Gutted to see Gwion go, he could have been so influential this year with our attacking option's.

Re: Pre-season friendlies

Bolton may be free for ST but will it go ahead?

I know they arw in financial peril and over the last couple of season have had tranfers embargo's and wage caps put in the club, but to cancel a friendly at the last minute because the players have gone on strike is staggering

Re: Transfer RUMOURS OUT

Wasn't it DM's published policy to put up for sell any players entering the last year of contracts to be automatically transfer listed? Like most I would love to see Gwion stay but as clearly he doesn't even want to entertain new contract talks surely it would be best to see the lad leave. I refuse ...

Re: Transfer RUMOURS IN

I dont like Evans, his demeanour, his foul mouth outbursts and hia ability to deflect any blame awaybfeom him.... However, one has to be impressed by his recruitment this summer, on paper it looks awesome and thats without two new forwards to come in and for the first time in quite a few years am re...

Re: Transfer RUMOURS OUT

I won't be disappointed if Dmac holds out for his £6mill (or whatever he will accept) and he ends up staying a further half season in League 1 Maybe not but Marriot will. I dont care how big a team player he is, how wonderful his attitude is, if DM blocks a move to any championship club of note and...

Re: Players who have DEFINITELY SIGNED

Must admit when DM boasted how much money he had spent thus far this summer I had to chuckle. Though factually true, he knows his bank account is likely to start £5-7M up come August. There is no way either will be here when we kick off so I assume the new arrivals, particularly up front haven't sto...

Re: Players DEFINITELY LEFT

Totally agree, after what happened he was never going to come back here and thankfully he can't come back to haunt us, but unlike chompy, I do have a sneaky suspicion he will score bucket loads in league 2, anyone wgo smashes Vardys Conf record and in less games must be a decent player. Interesting ...

Re: Ricky Miller

The lad obviously has 'demons' he finds hard to control, and as I come from a family who has also has to deal with relatives suffering similarly, one tragically, I can with much pain, relate to the consequences only too well. Have to say though didnt know about his brother that on it's own must have...

Re: Players DEFINITELY LEFT

I find it a staggering deal. DM still drooling about the lad and of course everyone wishes him well but if he couldn't shine in Div 1 just can't see how he will do so in the championship.
Great move for him though and at this rate Mr Chairman will soon have enough money to buy the ground!

Junior Morias to Lincoln seems possible.
Not to.mW it doesn't Chompy, whilst he will for into the Cowley's work rate ethos, I just don't think the lad is good enough. Not sure where or what level the lad will be playing next year to be fair.
