Re: Posh v Southend

Leo deserves a lot of credit after a terrible excursion against non league opposition, the fact that he had time in midfield was the key. I do worry that the front three, Leo, Anderson and Forrester are a little lightweight if they are playing top teams. Despite an excellent performance from MM I s...

Re: Posh v Blackpool

It's probably money down the pan in truth, as we should have enough qualty, but there's still a bit of 50-1 around about us getting relegation. Since the (flatteringly) good start, we've been in relegation form for sure, although don't tell Grant obv or he'll have a hissy fit. Who has is at 50s? I ...

Re: Ricky Miller

Clubs can be punished by the FA for employing 'known' suspect players. That's a new one if true. Which I have to say I doubt given that Nile Ranger keeps finding clubs, even when he had a crown court case hanging over him that led to a custodial sentence. Miller was cleared of his previous charges ...

Re: Posh v Blackpool

It's the lack of running from midfield that is killing us. We know that Doughty is very slow but Anderson's lack of movement is embarrassing. He has lost so much after two years of injury that I doubt he will ever be the player he was becoming before his first injury. Changing formation at least fou...

Re: Poshies v Southampton U21

Leicester stole it. It was the very best tune to see the Posh run out to. I've always liked it. Can you hear it in Oz? It's wrong and sounds a tinny racket. 'Since 1941 the post horn has been played at the beginning of home matches of Leicester City Football Club.' Lestah definitely got it ...

Re: New contracts for Maddison and Jermaine

Having seen them I'll give him ten out of ten for both passes, goal 3 was beautiful, still a lot for Jack to do but I assume that was an assist, the other was not although he took the penalty well. According to The Times the team of the week our best player, or at least the only one in the team was...

Re: Introduce Yourself

Been a Posh fan since the early 80s First match I can remember is the FA cup tie v Manchester City and Micky Gynn's run from the kick off. Favourite player ever - Ken Charlery. A legend on and off the pitch. Best game ever seen - Huddersfield Town away, May 1992 All time Posh XI and bench Bennett Pa...
