Re: Women’s World Cup

Womens' football is a sexist construct. There should not be separate competitions for men and women if , as women say, they should be treated equally. I suppose you would have them share dressing rooms as well. With the millions of pounds available in football nowadays the cost of an additional 2 c...

Re: Women’s World Cup

well it is woeful and guess what I do know the difference between the two sports. Who are you supporting in this? Australia of course. Only because the standard of Women's football is not woeful for women. mmm. You once posted on the other site you always supported your country of birth in football...

Re: Women’s World Cup

The overall standard of the football being played is pretty woeful but various individuals show a lot of talent. It's football and so I'll give some of it a go but it's really best to observe it as a totally different sport to the proper game, a bit like golf and the two versions which are totally ...

Re: Women’s World Cup

Having watched last nights game in its entirety, I have to say how much I enjoyed watching the Argies get beaten, they were just as cynical as their male counterparts. I did however feel sorry for their keeper who apart from saving a penalty made a string of important saves. I was watching it a Spa...

Re: Justin Edinburgh - 49

I spoke with Charlie Lee last night who needless to say was gutted. He got to know Justin very well over the season and previously spoke very well of him.
Very sad, he was a good player too back in the day.

Re: New Players

Niall Mason signs two year contact, I'm all in favour of giving people a second chance. fwiiw it could be a very good signing of a player it has generally been agreed was very good prior to his silly, unforgivable actions. He has apologised albeit after bad legal advice, wants to get on with his li...

Niall Mason signs two year contact, I'm all in favour of giving people a second chance. Unlike comments from Phil Keys on dotnet who is against anyone having a second chance. You are totally obsessed about .net  Get a life mate is all I can say except Phil is no doubt stirring things up a bit...

Re: The Trump Protests

We see the awful scenes of the harpy screaming abuse at a Trump supporter, is that what is needed in this country, discusting behaviour. It's dis g usting btw Yeah nobody on the 'other side' has ever done such a thing. It's about time zealots on either side acknowledged each side are as bad as each...
