Re: Past and Present Players

It's a good job Marcus Maddison had full approval by the management to miss the start of pre-season training! Anthony Grant missed the start of pre-season training at Shrewsbury earlier this month, due to having dental work done. he has been banished from the first team squad for the season ...........

Re: George Boyd

I see George is pictured holding the No 21 shirt for the new season.
Initially Posh announced that number 21 would be worn by idris Kanu!
Does that mean Kanu will be going out on loan shortly?

Re: George Boyd

Depends on his fitness of course, but I don't consider a 33-year old who played in the Championship last season as a desperate appointment.
As Dmac didn't originally intend to re-sign him, I assume he is about the 4th or 5th-choice for midfield.

Re: Cricket World Cup

I think India would have loved to play Pakistan in the semi-finals (if that scenario could have happened), as they seem to have the beating of Pakistan! Surely they would have beaten England if they could? England are much more of a danger to their hopes of winning the World Cup! At the end I think ...

Re: Cricket World Cup

It was funny as the whole of the sub-continent was shouting for India today! As well as India's unbeaten run gone now, Sri Lanka's hopes have ended, Bangladesh's hopes have diminished and Parkistan's hopes have greatly reduced. This now brings New Zealand's semi-final qualification into question. I ...
