Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

I believe that most people have now understood (or at least those who do wish to understand) that the promises of easy trade deals (Liam fox) of massive financial benefits (Gove, Johnson) of major gains in sovereignty (farage, baker, raab, davis), reductions in immigration(Farage et al) have all pro...

Re: Who was your first Peterborough United idol?

when you had a forward line with Hails, Emery, Bly and McNamee (all of whom scored over 20 goals in THE season) and when Rigby was the captain who did virtually no wrong all season, then for me it was practically impossible to pick the first among equals. But I would say those five and the others in...

Re: Breaking news, Fergie is back

It is always interesting to see how different people see the same set of facts and yet come up with wildly different opinions because of the emphasis each of us places on different events, or else they forget, ignore, follow the soundbites or never really understood. Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

And then a couple of MPs (each voted in as Tories) are complaining that there is bias. This is because somebody objects to...

import a few rules from rugby:- 1)Instead of a yellow card have a 10 minute sin bin (as above) 2)challenges to the ref, move things 10 yards forward (and maybe a penalty if appropriate) 3)and such challenges are worthy of a yellow card 4) end the game only after the ball goes out of play 5) in some ...

Re: Accrington Stanley v Posh

a good assessment of the game that I saw I would however put more emphasis on how for the first 20 minutes of the second half were being outplayed , and we were playing 10 yards too far back it reminded me of how we succumbed to Dack at Ewood in the second half back in April Maddisons dead ball tech...
