Re: Ronnie Moran has died

Was at Liverpool 46 years, 1952-1998, holding every position you can think of including Manager on a couple of occasions.

Ronnie Moran has died

It has been announced that Ronnie Moran ex Liverpool has died age 83. A great stalwart of Liverpool. I had the pleasure of being on holiday on a cruise some 17 years ago with him and spent many a super evening talking football with him. R.I.P.Ronnie.

Re: DMac.

Funny...because we were saying yesterday that Taylor should be the first player to be offered a new contract. He's got more ability than most of ours put together...Although his decision making let's him down at times ( no more than others though) Be warned, he is not one of Darraghs favourites. Br...

Re: Billy Hails RIP

A wonderful unassuming player and a big part of my early years in the 1950's-1960's. A brilliant "old fashioned" out and out right winger, approachable and a hundred percenter on the pitch. R.I.P. Billy and thanks a million.

Re: Chesterfield v Poshies

The most enjoyable game since early Season football wise. CMS was a giant as was Taylor in the first half. They changed their set up second half and closed up the midfield for 20 minutes, but we then come on strong again in the last 15 minutes.

Re: Grant McCann

Much better, especially the first half and the last 15 minutes. CMS was a revelation and Forrester actually at times looked again like a footballer. We had a game total of 21 shots, albeit only 7 on target but we did enjoy some exciting football at times. May it continue. Disappointing Posh fan foll...
