Re: Ricky Miller and other transfer targets

we could have 20 strikers...but it doesn't mean that any of them are good enough. of the above mentioned...only nichols morias miller and stevens are out and out strikers. 2 of those have never kicked a ball at league one level. i'm still of the opinion we need an experienced league one ready forwar...

Re: Ricky Miller and other transfer targets

Through no one's fault...I feel my post has been taken out of context.

My point is...

As a paying customer who's seen the decline of the team over the past 2-3 seasons...Priority for ME is ensuring we have a good enough season to stay in league one.

Re: Ricky Miller and other transfer targets

I'm not sure about sacrificing promotion to buy the ground....

Priority must be to ensure league one status...

Because we are miles away from being promotion contenders.

Indeed...

Replacing the standard of player we've let go with the same standard of player.

Re: Ricky Miller and other transfer targets

....Ditto Chompy. As DMAC said though...He's not going to turn 6/7 grand a week and championship football down to rejoin us. The chairman is being quite open on Twitter atm regarding transfers and it appears we've already missed out on 3 or 4 targets. Another Challenging summer in the transfer marke...

Re: Jermaine Anderson

If anything....He's kicking us.

He's lucky to be offered any deal at all.

Re: Jermaine Anderson

Contract offer withdrawn.

100 % behind the club on this....Who clearly won't be held to ransom by an injury prone over hyped footballer and his greedy agent.

He's unlikely to play much before Xmas...and if he does return he'll probably break down again.

Re: Ricky Miller and other transfer targets

Don't think we were in for him this time.

Mcanthony claimed back in March that we would "give prem loanies the swerve " after this deal collapsed on deadline day.

He has been known to change his mind though.

Re: Jack Baldwin

I'm not convinced he's captaincy material but then again I'm not convinced any of them are. He certainly won't be nearly as bad as Forrester was.

As a player though it's good news he's signed another contract imo...and he's almost put Anderson, who was offered the same deal...to shame in doing so.

Re: Jermaine Anderson

What the hell are we doing even considering offering Anderson a contract extension anyway? This lad has had 2 serious knee injuries and shouldn't warrant any new contract until he's proved his fitness with a run of first team games. No other club would entertain him at this present time and this is ...
