Re: Current Form

I assume the thread has drifted as the elder blue tinted brigade dont want to talk about our very obvious relegation form. Something's gotta change especially as we usually get a dip in form in January. Imagine that we get worse than we are currently???? One or two of them don't....their blinkers a...

I suspect we'd just drop back to our former glories on mid-table L2 if he left. L2 wouldn't be so bad
Pleased your so optimistic, I wouldn't be on our gates.
We'd hopefully still be operating and I'd still be going
Some will....Some won't

Re: Current Form

There's no guarantee we'll improve with new signings...Fans should remember, we've fallen apart after Christmas for the past two seasons and the January transfer window has been a disaster for us. As for the stats...They don't lie and they're just backing up the majority of performances we've witnes...

Re: Current Form

i wouldn't expect too much from the blue tinted specs brigade on this, as they'll just see it as negative...but this has been creeping up on us for a while now and our stats...as well as many of our performances over the past 3 months...are pretty shocking. august was papering over a lot of cracks.....

Re: Grant McCann - Manager

Darragh's made mistakes for sure...but his successes far outweigh his failures. We are very lucky to have him.

McCann is also lucky to have him...He's been made manager solely due to his success with the club as a player. He's survived whilst others have been dismissed...He's got it all to prove.

Re: Poshies v Blackburn

I think it was very much the right thing to give a minutes applause for Andy Mills on Saturday, but I think it should have been done before the match or at half time, as I believe that it affects the players concentration, doing it during the game. I'm not saying this was the reason that we were so...

Re: Woking replay

8/1 for a team that should have won the original tie is a decent enough price.

I'm tempted.

Re: January japery

Two strikers and a creative midfielder...and if McCann wants to continue with 3-5-3 then add 2 wing backs to the list Miller will go...if anyone wants him. Anderson and Kanu need loaning out and there will have to be a sale too. One things for sure...We can't go into the second part of the season wi...

Re: Poshies v Blackburn

anderson shouldn't be anywhere near this team...he's unfit, not interested and woefully out of form. i'm begining to wonder if he's just blagging it following those knee injuries...i don't ever see him getting back to the level he showed for a short while before the first one. i've defended baldwin ...

Re: Poshies v Blackburn

We just about held our own first half...but once they went up a gear, the game was over 15 minutes into the second...I felt sure they could have scored more should they needed too and they cruised through the rest of the game. Same old problems for Posh I'm afraid...We give the ball away too cheaply...

Re: Ricky Miller

Grant said that he has a month to prove himself. Well that is twenty minutes from the bench in the last three games and that was against Woking! How is the lad going to prove himself if he doesn't even get on the pitch?  I did wonder about this, but it could be Grant is looking for an ...

Re: Poshies v Blackburn

An excellent game of football throughout..........apart from the first 5 minutes of the game and the first 15 minutes of the second. Best football otherwise played this Season and we deserved to win it. If both teams had played the whole game,... that was as good as I have ever seen in League 1. No...

Re: Poshies v Blackburn

Away from the social gatherings and back to the football.... "We'll go there on the front foot and ask questions of them"...Mowbray. An excellent manager he is and he'll fancy getting the better of us, as he usually does. Hopefully we'll go with the same attitude and hit them with the same...any sit...
