Re: Reading between the lines

It's a good job Maddison and Marriott have been 'greedy'...Without them we'd be in the bottom four no doubt. Yesterday...We were going to see 'fast free flowing attacking football' according to Grant. All we saw was long balls lumped up front because we had no idea how to break a well organised Wimb...

Re: Posh v AFC Wimbledon

Echo most of the views said already, talented group of individuals with no collective chemistry. Difficult to build chemistry when a formation rotates every five minutes and personnel rarely if ever is the same game in game out. There is no consistency, if someone has a good game one week they will...

Re: Posh v AFC Wimbledon

The 'team' aren't good enough imo...because they don't play as one.

We've got talented individuals...but not collectively.

Apart from a handful of good performances....mainly away from home....we've been rubbish all season.

The manager carries the can for that.

Re: Grant McCann - Manager

He's going backwards...and he's taking the team with him.

The only place he'll ever take us is league 2

The job's too big for him...and it's come way too soon in his career.

Mistake after mistake...Week in, week out.

Surely Darragh will pull the trigger soon....

Re: Posh v AFC Wimbledon

Diabolical...From start to finish. The first half isn't worth discussion...The second half was slightly better because basically, it couldn't possibly have been worse. The only player that did himself justice was Freestone Who coped well with a tricky opponent in Lyle Taylor. Two funny moments to en...

Re: Posh v AFC Wimbledon

Six points off the playoffs with two games in hand. Still 39 points to play for. Very true....And I'm sure you're one of the few that are still dreaming. However, the performances will tell you that we're likely to finish nearer the bottom six than the top six. If anybody still really believes we'l...

Re: Vote for next season's away kit

Don't like any of them.

If they'd had all black with gold trim...I'd have gone with that

But they haven't....So none of them

Re: Posh v AFC Wimbledon

It's a sad indication of where we are when most fans are fearing the worst at home to Wimbledon. We need 11 players willing to put in a lot of hard work tomorrow but sadly that has been a rarity this season.GM doesn't seem to have the bottle to give a player a kick up the arse when it is needed.What...

Re: Posh v AFC Wimbledon

"Many Posh fans believe managerial errors are holding a talented squad back" ...Swann in the PT today.

I agree with that statement.

"Every decision is scrutinised"

Absolutely...and it's about to get tougher.

Re: Posh v AFC Wimbledon

Wimbledon will relish this...A tough physical battle against a team that doesn't do tough physical battles. It's going to be a difficult afternoon for us, whatever the outcome. No idea on what team..formation or tactics we can expect here....and I very much doubt the players have either. No doubt we...

Re: Blackpool v Posh

More posts deleted I see.... I wonder if the .net moderators would consider deleting some of the nonsense our good moderator himself has posted on that forum today accusing this forum...amongst others...of driving Darragh away from the club. Does he honestly think that a hard nosed businessman like...

Re: Blackpool v Posh

Truth hurts.

Still. ...

Think I'll go on .net, post a few expletives and blame social media and forum posters for the fact that Grant McCann can't pick a team to win a football match and Darragh is daring to offer to help a non league club financially.

Re: Grant McCann - Manager

McCann is the chairmans puppet He wants a manager he can control and dictate to. I listened to an interview recently in an Irish sports radio station and our chairman admitted that previous managers have been axed in the past, because they won't adhere to the club's policies and have tried to introd...
