Re: POSH at Gillingham

'we could have thrown it away again when a petulant unnecessary kick from Marmite could have, nay shale have earned a straight red.' Do you honestly think that sort of thing should be allowed in football, if a player from another side had done it to one of ours you would have been screaming blue mu...

Re: POSH at Gillingham

Excellent result, after trying to throw it away, at 1-2 we needed a flash of brilliance which we got from Dembele, Maddison and Toney to turn it to 3-2, as we should have had a penalty in the first half, we could have thrown it away again when a petulant unnecessary kick from Marmite could have, na...

Like comparing Maddison to Ronaldo. Utterly ridiculous
Surely that has not been done?
Based on the original poster suggesting that we sold both too early... comparing the 2 is nonsense as they are millions of pounds apart

Re: Jaanai Gordon

I seem to recall him being the next big thing when he went to West Ham. Was sat thinking about older players this evening and couldn't remember his name at first. If I recall he was very talented and maybe moved on to quick, now currently not signed to anyone.. Anyone else think this may be the cas...

Welcome to the board all you newbees, I wonder what has changed to bring so many new people to post.
Ah I wondered why it's been so quiet..... Clearly blocking out broader opinions?

Re: Transfer RUMOURS IN

It is becoming ridiculous. How will he keep all his players match fit and happy? Is he trying to build the largest squad in the EFL? A little knowledge is a dangerous thing, but this doesn't even constitute a little knowledge. It seems as though the balance of the squad is nearly where it needs to ...

Re: Players DEFINITELY LEFT THIS CLOSE SEASON

Jermaine Anderson on loan to a League One team. Good for him. Maybe he will get his mojo back! https://www.doncasterroversfc.co.uk/news/2018/august/rovers-capture-anderson-on-loan/ Today has been a good day Hopefully he keeps last season's form until after the beating they get at the ABAX soon....

Re: ex poshies

Neither is correct, I just consider that Scots have always had a chip on their shoulder. Denis Law was a great player, Alex Ferguson was a great manager, but the league up north is a joke, as is their international side. To be fair it wasn't always that way. Even back to the 80s Fergie did a great ...

Re: Transfer RUMOURS IN

It's no surprise that despite the success we have with strikers from lower leagues that agents use their influence for a quick buck and go to a championship. Potential would seem greater for the right player coming to us but hey ho! How many clubs would have risked Marriott last summer? Also wonder ...

Re: Transfer RUMOURS IN

Yeah I agree. Tyrone Barnett was a big old boy but we know how that went. Midfield scoring goals? What an interesting concept! :D I like the movement of the two up front on saturday and whilst cummings especially needs some more fitness (says me!) and could do with a goal even this early they worke...

Re: Transfer RUMOURS IN

How many striker's have we missed out on this summer? Frustrating. Very true. But we have made some, hopefully, very good signings and only a few weeks ago people were enthusing about the potential signings of Matt Godden and Jason Cummins. My preference anyway is not to rely on a big lump up front...

Darragh on potential signings before deadline day....

"No irons in the fire"

Hilarious.
He needs to have words with hi manager then as he's expecting 2 or 3 more. More fake news from the chairman :clap2:

More goals for Doughty in one game than our entire midfield managed in a season last year.
I wonder if that's down to coaching and management?
