Re: Southend v Posh

Perhaps we put him in his rightful position just for the expected scout visit? Back to wing back on SaturdaY? I sincerely hope not...

Re: Leo - an appeal .........

the booing on saturday was for grant coming off....not leo coming on. the fans aren't the issue here...he's been forced into the side too quickly and too often for one so young and physically weak. playing him at wing back hasn't helped him either...he's a midfielder. managing him correctly is the ...

We're going to need a striker in January for sure.

It'll probably be a....one for the future 17 yo from Shamrock Rovers reserves though.
Probably correct but the last Irish signing has looked pretty promising and think he came from the reserves or wasn't a regular choice

Besides which, we only need one striker as long as Gwion and MM are fit and played in their rightful positions.

But what do we do if Marriott is injured?
Panic?
Plan for relegation. Joe Miller won't be the answer to our problems for sure....

Re: Leo - an appeal .........

..... to the home fans to get off his back, get behind him and realise that we really do have a star in the making. Anybody who was at Southend couldn't fail to be impressed by this young man. He was totally unplayable at times and seemed to be revelling in his role alongside Jermaine in the middle...

Re: FA Cup First Round draw

Why is it a Pony draw? Rovers fans am sure will be disappointed, if only for the journey they have to make, but they have a great support will probably bring 500-1000 so a good atmosphere guaranteed, and even considering our current form (theirs is no better by the way) surely it gives us a great c...

It's posted because anyone with half a brain or more would realise it's a joke.
How rude! You are clearly more Australian than Posh these days! No way to refer to the younger generation!

Gillingham's reward for beating us?

Graham Westley taking over the reins!

At least it looks that way, he's 1-3 favourite now.

Poor old Gills :-)
They would do that after beating us. His track record would seem to prevent him from getting another job....

Re: Southend v Posh

From Vital Football - The man in charge of the Sky Bet EFL League One match between Southend United and Peterborough United is KEVIN JOHNSON. So far this season, Johnson has officiated 11 matches issuing 40 yellow cards and 6 red cards! Is Anthony Grant playing? Wait for it!! You seem to disl...

Re: Scunthorpe V Peterborough a Place for a Pint

Looks horrific. No real ale unless that has changed and looks like an estate pub. Saying that it wouldn't bother me but it would an awful lot of the coach i am taking :D We have a lovely pub about 10 miles away sorted, lots of real ales, craft beers and outstanding food. A day on teh sauce, would i...

Not just Hollywood, everywhere, Cyril Smith, Jimmy Savile, Ched Evans.
Like the way you connected Saville and Evans. One was someone who prayed on the his celebrity to get what he wanted with young women. The other one plays for the Blades...

Re: Posh v Gillingham

Last season I was prepared to give him the benefit of the doubt. First season in charge, not having all his own choice of players.... But nothing has changed and he is the common denominator. Time to go before another season disappears under Darragh's misguided managerial decisions

Re: This season

We are under performing simple as. We have better players than have been losing 3 games on the bounce to poor teams, or poorer than us. The manager can't get the best out of them. If you were able to go to the games you may have picked up on it! He needs to go or we need to brace ourselves for a scr...

Re: Posh v Gillingham

Hell this is miserable stuff and that's nothing to do with the football on the pitch. Playground stuff a lot of it. Blaming Chompy for it all is pretty poor given the forum has been mostly dead for years! I hear through unofficial sources that the note yesterday from McCann said "The manager has tol...

Dear stick up for your chums despite the obvious..... Never mind everyone wants to see us in L2. We might win a game.... But as we always do badly against the poor teams.... Ah there's the flaw in that plan! Jogging on....
You what?
Don't disturb me I'm jogging on
