Re: This season

Between them, Doughty, Forrester, Grant, LDSL and Anderson have amassed 2 goals in 146 appearances this season. Baldwin has matched that total in 29 appearances.
Erhun Oztumer has 13 in 35, and Paul Taylor 6 in 31. Tom Nichols has rattled in 2 in 36.

Re: Posh v Southend

I intended no criticism of Hughes; at least he found the net on both occasions, unlike Marriott. I'd take issue with your adjectives 'blatantly' and 'probably', and offer 'marginally' and 'definitely' instead. On both occasions, though, Hughes is the 'last man' from the crosser, and can look along ...

Re: Posh v Southend

'....MM looked lazy and contributed next to nothing....' As I recall (I stand to be corrected), Maddison twice set up Marriott for one-on-one chances, one in each half, and both of Hughes' disallowed 'goals' came from Maddison crosses. If Marriott and Hughes had managed their chances better, we mig...

Re: Posh v Southend

May be the case, but does he not have a point. I thibk you were one of the people who said Cooper must start but he was one of many who had stinkers. Can forgive Bogle in his debut for being so.....ordinary as he only met his team mates a couple of days previously. Alan Swanns love child MM looked ...

Re: Posh v Southend

McCann could not manage a whelk stall. Look who's back. It's the non-Posh supporting Posh 'fan'. Guess we must have lost today? May be the case, but does he not have a point. Re: LDSL

From my seat near the half-way line in the main stand, I've never heard any heckling directed towards LDSL, nor did I in the case of Nichols. Should have gone to Specsavers - they do hearing aids too! Obviously I'm not hearing the voices which you are; maybe I should go to the Arc Institute f...

Re: LDSL

From my seat near the half-way line in the main stand, I've never heard any heckling directed towards LDSL, nor did I in the case of Nichols. I can't speak for the Family Stand (I migrated from it about four years ago due to what I regarded as officious and obstructive behaviour by the stewards). If...

Re: Posh v Southend

You all seem to have forgotten teacher's pet, he has to start. Exactly my point I hope -- but don't expect -- that we have seen the last of the days of lining up with Grant, Forrester asnd LDSL in midfield at the same time -- 0 goals in 98 collective appearances this season from that trio makes us ...

Re: Omar Bogle

Darragh will be expecting a top six finish now, no doubts. The most sensible comment in this thread. Well, the chairman is already on record to this effect, quoted in the PET: 'This is a well-funded squad that needs to finish in the top six, it should finish in the top six, and it has to finish in ...

Re: In defence of Danny Lloyd

I'm rarely critical of players and never base my views on statistics. However I'd say my track record on here has been pretty impressive. And I'm 100% right about Lloyd. Same as I was about Ricky Miller. The two dinosaurs above are correct, though, Posh fans rarely give new boys much of a chance, b...

Re: Checkatrade Trophy Quarter final

Anderson may have looked good on the radio...but Cooper has shown more in 20 minutes for us than Harry A did in 2 years....No comparison. As for the rest of our youth players....Hmmm do you really think they are the future of the club? Bostwick was sold as he was on championship wages....The fact t...

Re: Checkatrade Trophy Quarter final

Bad subs again last night as soon as GM changed it we lost momentum why did lopes even play in an important game like this after coming back from injury so soon trying again to put him in shop window again to no effect.Again bad management subs. With the scores level and twenty minutes to play, the...

Re: Will struggle if Marriott leaves

In the middle of their promotion season 2015-16, Burton Albion parted company with both their manager (Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink) and their top scorer (Abdenasser El Khayati). AEK had 8 goals from 24 L1 appearances at the time of his departure, and Burton were top of the table. More than one way to sk...

In defence of Danny Lloyd

On other threads, there seems to be a degree of impatience with Lloyd, and I'm at something of a loss to understand the anxiety to see the back of our second-top scorer barely half-way through his first season with us. I can't speak to any 'attitude problems' or off-field issues but I think that a p...

Re: Posh v Oldham

It was good to see Simon Davies and Matthew Etherington back where they started. The match was reminiscent of the Bury game: nursing a slender, barely-merited one-goal lead, then profiting from a central-defender-sized hole after the red cards for Marriott's goal against Bury and Cooper's goal again...
