Re: Grant McCann - Manager

I have to admit to not being one of McCann greatest fans. His tactics, team selection and constant defence of his players has not been justifiable throughout his time in charge and unfortunately I don't see that changing not this season anyway. Whether he lives to fight another day remains to be see...

Re: January japery

The point is,did anyone want them! After their dismal performance against Leicester,I feel those that were interested may have had second thoughts! That would recent Premier League winners Leicester? I wonder if you are one of the boozy brigade and have overdone too many shandies on a school night?...

Re: January japery

So now we are left with two recognised strikers. Let's hope neither one of them gets injured or we really are up the creek without a paddle!

Fleetwood turn down a six-figure bid for Devante Cole from an unnamed L1 team.

I wonder...

Hard to think of a striker who better fits our typical profile.
Neither is this!

Re: January japery

Wigan have signed Cole from Fleetwood. Great signing for them to add to an already impressive forward line. Looks like they mean business which is more than can be said for us!

Re: Another non-league signing?

Another attacking midfielder to add to the 3-4 we have, including one just signed in the window in Cooper? I aloways love these vague shopping lists. How about giving a name? This proven goal scorer? Name me a central.midfielder we currently have who attacks the opposing penalty area and scores reg...

Re: Another non-league signing?

My gut feeling is we will.make possibly one or even two new signings before the deadline, but my biggest concern is that one or even both will be lower league or non league hopefuls with expectations of hitting the ground running. I hope I'm wrong, but we are becoming as predictable with our signings ...

Re: FA Cup Fourth round Posh v Leicester

The only positive note to come out of today's performance is that none of macblarneys golden boys will be going nowhere in the transfer window after that performance. Any managers watching some of our so called big money spinners will be putting their cheque books away and looking elsewhere!

We're being linked with Matt Godden (source Alan Nixon).
According to the ever reliable Sun newspaper. Posh will go in for Godden only if they sell Marriot in the transfer window.

Re: January japery

Am I the only one who is a little baffled by the two recent signings we have just made in Ward and Cooper. We already seem to have a surplus of wide players with Maddison and Lloyd and if you also count the injured Edwards and Inman who is currently out on loan, we now we have two more to the collec...

Here we go again! Another non league hopefully who's had one good game against us and all of a sudden he's a world beater.
When will we ever learn!

Re: Aston Villa V The Posh

I see our loud mouthed director of football is at it once again. This time criticizing the hierarchy at Aston Villa and its supporters. When will he ever learn to keep it shut, he's an embarrassment to the club, his chairman and supporters. I hope he gets all the abuse and flack he rightly deserves ...

It appears....

We had a bid accepted on a player that we couldn't afford and the manager didn't really want.

You couldn't make it up...

Re: Kieffer Moore

We were never going to sign Keiffer Moore in a million years, just like we were never going to sign Hanson from the Blades. Hes gone to Bury. This club just wants non league hopefuls who might just make us a few bob. Unfortunately im afraid those days have gone now and If we want success like McBla...
