Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

Trevor, its probably been the worst & most calamitous start for a PM in living memory! Despite her tremendous media support, a broken Labour party are closing the gap. This due to her gaffes, u-turns, hopeless negotiating skills, hiding from real people, being terrified to debate or even take u...

Re: Millwall fans ... yet again

Right, you don't want to punish the players. Why not put an electric fence around the end where the Millwall fans are, like they use for cattle?!!  That was tried at Chelsea years ago and the day they finished it, at a huge cost, Ken Bates the Chairman and Chelsea were ordered to remove ...

Re: Diving

Typical, no thought gone into the plan, if someone dives and gains an advantage, mainly a penalty, it can effect the result of that match. By doing it retrospectively the team that benefit is the team that the player is suspended against. As usual the FA are failing to use the benefits of technolog...

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

Oooft! Thanks Bristle for confirming how out of touch you are with reality. Living in a bubble world with views like that show that you don't grasp the picture for millions in the UK. Could shoot down all your points but you'll still stay in denial. Whitey, the problem with Labour is always the sam...

Any idea what to expect? Oldfield on a permanent deal would be a start.

Re: Ricky Miller and other transfer targets

Micheal Doughty of QPR is on McCanns shopping list..Fry thinks it'll be hard to pull off owing to the players wages at Rangers.
Posh also working hard to tie David Oldfield to a permanent deal.

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

I had a chuckle at the Tory strategy today. It includes another election on Brexit- despite the fact there is already a mandate. No need for an endorsement, it is there already. There is no mandate to leave the single market. The strong and stable leader who swithered from remain to leave, the stro...

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

Can't see anything wrong with Labour's manifesto on first glance. Defo better than what we've seen from our "strong and stable" leader. Unless you're both loaded & selfish, I couldn't think of one possible reason to vote Tory. The only thing you ever hear even from the Tory voters is ...

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

we seem to have a choice between the barely credible or the barely competent. if the only serious reason we have for voting for one rather than the other is "we're krap but not as krap as the others " then it seems to me that we are for a rough time , as we try to pick up the crumbs from ...

Re: Ricky Miller and other transfer targets

Young and hungry? Aged 31 and he has been out for two years with an Achilles' tendon injury. Hardly a top choice I would have thought. :stupid: I'd never heard of him (or the author who Wycliffe describes as *******.) I described the player as ******* Id have thought you'd jump at the chance to sho...
