Re: Matt Godden

I forecast that Godden will score more goals for Coventry than Eisa or Toney will for Posh.

Re: Past and Present Players

Read more carefully. There is something deeper than dental problems! "He won't be part of the first-team set-up this season due to reasons which will remain in house." https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/49006462 I'm sure that is so. Nevertheless, it still seems strange to me for the club to merel...

Re: Past and Present Players

It's a good job Marcus Maddison had full approval by the management to miss the start of pre-season training! Anthony Grant missed the start of pre-season training at Shrewsbury earlier this month, due to having dental work done. he has been banished from the first team squad for the season ..........

Re: George Boyd

Signing Boyd is a gamble well worth taking. Has always been a model professional (unlike Tomlin for example). Provided he is fully fit, he could be the chief playmaker for Posh next season.

Re: Rafa Benitez

Has worked wonders with the players at his disposal in keeping Newcastle in the Premiership. The club will struggle even more now unless a very competent manager is appointed and backed with considerable financial support in the transfer market - support at a level never provided for Rafa. Not many ...

Re: New Players

Who can blame them? Normal business practice. In the same situation, I strongly suspect that Posh would do the same. Of course Oldham can be as harsh as they see fit and call it business, the fact is the lad himself wanted to talk to the club, he and his agent agreed that he would meet up with POSH...

Re: The Trump Protests

Aha, you're a Leave voter. You can spot them a mile off. Self-centred racists. I look forward to the day when you have to pay £50 just to see a doctor and then find several grand if you need any further treatment afterwards. Leavers should be made to wear a badge so we can all stop and point. Words...

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

never ever will a brexiteer address the issues about brexit. the only argument left (and it still does have some force) to the brexiteers is that they won a slight majority of those that voted however it is only 37% of the electorate of three years ago. we now know more of the truth, they know it w...

Re: Pre-season games

What is to be learned or gained by playing such ordinary opposition? If Posh cannot thrash such opponents I do not hold out much hope for a successful League 1 season.

Re: Gillinghams new manager is.....

He'll enjoy pitting his wits against those of Mr Ferguson. Those games will be difficult for Posh.

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

Once again you are saying you can see into the future. If you are so sure you must win the lottery every week no I would never say that I know what will happen. what I do know however is that all (or practically all) of the claims from the brexiteers of what would happen has now been withdrawn as t...

Party political broadcasts are allowed on a strictly limited and controlled basis
Still far too many of them for my liking. These days, I switch the TV off - for all party broadcasts.

nobody has yet pointed to any genuinely tangible benefits of brexit

are there any?

what do we need to lose to get any of the benefits?
Saving of £8 billion per annum ?
