Guess we'll have a nice little sell-on clause here?

Not sure what that has to do with our transfer targets, I'm assuming you mean Washington

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

nobody has yet pointed out where she is strong and stable. I truly believe there is not one aspect of her government that has been worthy of praise. its all dog whistle stuff and too many of the non thinkers lap it up as if strong and stable is true. I do believe , as I have said before, we have a ...

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

Er, because there isn't any, she'll be out as soon as the election is over, my knowledge of the current contenders is not great, but Ledsome was my favourite before the last vote, apart from Boris Marmite there doesn't seem to be any men up for the task.

Re: Jack Baldwin

For example .net atm is carrying out a great series of polls to eventually choose their best team of players who have appeared in a POSH short 20 times or more. The trouble with that is there are so many numpties on that site players like Little and Lee will probably make the team. That is peoples ...

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

I think that if she wins with a reduced majority, especially against Tweedledee and dumber, someone will challenge her for the leadership. For me that leader should be Henning Wehn

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

no sir , the dog whistle is working again I asked that it be done in absolute terms; not relative to the competition (or lack of it!) can anybody point to where she is strong and stable? No, we've been through this before, she is not but it will not stop people voting for the party who despite your...

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

at least she is consistent wibbly wobbly at every point. no ifs and no buts the dementia tax, school dinners, floppiness over manchester, the first manifesto ever to fall apart before an election, its only trumped by Trumps lack of strong stability, no clarity on what we hope for on brexit. don't l...

Re: ashman's daily quiz

Well, I was wrong with my answer to that one. While Bristle is digging out some easier ones, here is one I found on a beer bottle top yesterday. Which country has the longest name with no letter repeated? I did know this once upon a time, but I can't remember it now. Kurdistan would be my guess, bu...

Re: ashman's daily quiz

Here's a question, answers by pm, if there's enough interest in this one. I'll try and come up with some others. Until recently the largest city in England that had never had a top flight football team was Kingston upon Hull, but as they've now had a couple of spells up in the top tier, what city n...

Re: Did you know?

Did you know that the Sydney Harbour Bridge is the world's largest steel bridge, but unfortunately is not the longest. I think the word you're looking for is fortunately. If it were any bigger it would be too long, whereas if the ones that are bigger were any smaller they wouldn't reach the other s...

Re: Jack Baldwin

Facebook seems to have been a far better place to follow Dattagh than Twitter. He can write his full views not being restricted to the 140 characters on the latter format. There also seems to be a far better forum than both LRE and The Offal with all the latest news and discussion on Posh. People on...
