Re: Ricky Miller and other transfer targets

According to DMac we have a right back, released by a perm club, who is in Spain, yet to name him Thought we were done with youngsters from Prem clubs. Guess he must be a hungry pup. Doughty feels to me more likely to happen than not. Haven't seen much of him but DMac's crush Ben Gladwin is off the...

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

Her time is sure to be short, not because of Corbyn and the left, but from disquiet from within.

If he does go...He's been driven away by our mindless supporters who wouldn't know potential if it smacked them in the face.

These will be the same bunch that lorded it over Zakuani and Charlie Lee.

I'd laugh my face off if he smacked a hat trick against us one day.

Re: Doom and Gloom

Possibly so Tony, but the recent holiday photo he posted to Facebook suggests he still aspires to the millionaire lifestyle.

Re: Doom and Gloom

The same Oxford that Appleton just left because of investment issues? You seem to have missed Bradford? No, we can't compete financially with the likes of Bradford, Wigan, Pompey, Charlton but we never could. The problem remains in recruitment. DMac seems to have lost his nerve and won't splash out...

Re: Theresa May to make statement in Downing Street

A personal view I have recently posted to Facebook Personally I'd have loved to have been Corbyn or Fallon at the last election, knowing you can promise the earth, and never have to deliver. When one day a Labour party, if ever, gets to a position where they need help we'll see which money tree they...

Re: Ricky Miller and other transfer targets

According to the other message board Bristol Rovers want Nichols. Bristle will probably know if it's true. Ideal player for Bristol Rovers. I haven't heard any rumours down this way but I thought they had just recently signed Luke James who although not in the same league plays in a similar positio...

Doom and Gloom

As money, aside from being the root of evil, has proved extremely successful. Most notably in the Premier league, Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal, both Manchesters. When we look at the monied teams in league one, I fear that our fans expectations, mine especially, are more likely to be pie in the sky. T...

Too funny to go in just for fun

Jeremy Corbyn says he prefers the Stone Roses and doesn't get on with Dave Grohl.

Re: Out-going players

Smith to Hearts imminent... He won't take much replacing. True, I don't know what happened to him, he was Bristol Rovers best player, and whilst with us got a call up to the Irish team just prior to the Euros, perhaps that was what went to his head. ...and I know that makes him the tallest dwarf
