Following McCann is like following the Pied Piper. DON'T do it!
the Pied Piper did the job he was asked and contracted to do

Re: Posh v Blackpool

I hope that the 'Steps' he and the club are taking to get him back to his former self will pay dividends, as he was always a must start, up until the Chelsea game. (Did you see what I did there?) :) Only those who follow truly awful music would get that. The reference to the next concert at t'ABAX ...

Re: Posh v Tranmere Rovers FA Cup

He's missed a couple of good chances...and he's getting slaughtered for it. If he's managed and coached properly....We could have a player here. I'm afraid that that is the way that so many of our fans react towards any of our prospects. We are in agreement about the lad's abilities. Question . Wou...

Re: Posh v Blackpool

...He's also had personal issues but according to McCann, that's all behind him now and he's getting back to his old self. I'd like to see it...because there's a place for him in this side. We all would, but again there was very little evidence of that form returning in the 15 minute sub. session a...

Kanu had the game at his mercy and bottled. I don't care who he's turned out for, he's not up to Posh standards.
Not yet, anyway. The lad shows a great deal of promise IMO and I think that Posh using him as they have been recently, has shown good management of a very young talent.

Re: Posh v Tranmere Rovers FA Cup

Back on topic- The referee for tonight's game is Michael Salisbury. He has handed out 34 yellows and only 1 red so far this season. So, Maddison should be OK with his play acting and even Grant should be safe. Despite our many misgivings about the aforementioned officials, Mr Salisbury and his team...

Re: Posh v Tranmere Rovers FA Cup

The well worked win at Tranmere certainly puts a new perspective on this season. However, the next Div one match is yet to be played....It is this that will cement our fortunes. Win that and we can share your hopes and dreams. Crystal balls never won a football match. Effort and skills like that at...

Just seen on Facebook - more uproar over Maddison feigning injury at Wimbledon than over Miller drink driving and assaulting a police officer.
..... and in the cold light of day, which really is the most serious?

Re: Posh v Tranmere Rovers FA Cup

Playing Lloyd from the start might be an improvement. He looks to have cemented a place and a lot more useful than Kanu will ever seem to be. Leo remains the enigma that he is but no doubt will start for the cameras. I can't remember the last time we played on a Wednesday but it might suit us. It c...
