Re: January japery

Precisely. It's no good people saying that we need a player to partner Marriott up front if we go straight ahead and sell him. We have made these kind of mistakes before, selling Washington and Boyd and then having to suffer the consequences of the sales. It is a bit different this time as Jack is n...

Re: Anthem/ signature music

peterborough oo oo which echoed wonderfully around stamford bridge after vic crowe scored his goal that was our best chant, sadly lost in the mists of time to be replaced by the g*d awful Que sera sera We are not really talking about 'chants.' This thread is about signature music for the team when ...

I thought the joke was sexist about men, suggesting we're only interested in one thing oh no wait
No, stuie is right! Cut it out bristle and Tony. There are plenty of jokes that don't offend. Stick to that genre please!

Re: Fleetwood v Posh

It seems to take much longer than the wiser fans for McCann to recognise his players' best positions. If the can get that into his skull, Fleetwood will see nothing out of the game. Grant.......stop your habit of trying to be clever.....you are not clever.....not by a long chalk. 0ver 3 months to r...

Re: Anthem/ signature music

The origins of Post Horn Gallop seem a bit tenuous, as a Posh song there is no real link between the Petreborough are and Foxhunting. Leicester on the other hand are nicknamed The Foxes and have a great (if that be the correct word) of Foxhunting in the area. For all that I did enjoy in the 50s and...

Re: Fleetwood v Posh

On a far more serious note ,I still miss the posthorn gallop when the players come out :stupid: :comeon: I used to love the post horn gallop. Anybody know why we stopped using it? Couldn't be anything to do with copyright surely. It is so old. I did read somewhere that Leicester City use it. But th...

Amazing guy. A genuine Poshie and is often seen at away grounds pumping their groundsmen for tips on how to manage our pitch.

Re: Michael Doughty

Nice goal today but I still don't see why he is getting picked ahead of Forrester? Anyone know? What I see is a player with occasionally good distribution, zero pace, absent when needed in midfield and gutless in a challenge? So am I blinkered or missing something? This was McCann's number 1 player...

Re: This season

Those who are travelling on the licker also need to pay in advance to save money. The savings are obviously not so great but the initial outlay is a lot less. Wrong end of stick, if the game is called off your money is not lost as you will either get a refund or will travel on the alternative date....
