Re: Scunthorpe V Peterborough a Place for a Pint

'The Old Farmhouse' pub is a Hungry horse establishment and serves good food. It is only a short walk from the ground and as long as you don't wear (or show) colours they are very welcoming. Good atmosphere in there too. Taken from the Football Ground Guide: 'At Glanford Park itself is the Iron Bar ...

Leo - an appeal .........

..... to the home fans to get off his back, get behind him and realise that we really do have a star in the making. Anybody who was at Southend couldn't fail to be impressed by this young man. He was totally unplayable at times and seemed to be revelling in his role alongside Jermaine in the middle ...

Re: Southend v Posh

Started off once again struggling in the first 45 minutes, but second half produced some great football at times from both sides. A good game in the end and on balance maybe Posh deserved a win. I thoroughly enjoyed the game, as both teams, particularly in the second half, tried to win the game wit...

Re: Posh v Gillingham

Marcus was sitting in the Family Stand against the Cobblers. Topcat spoke to him and he confirmed that he was sitting things out as he was injured. I hope that he is not brought back too soon for his sake and the team.

Re: Posh v Northampton (Checkatrade)

I didn't think much of Doughty tonight. Looks like he lacks bottle in a challenge but some cracking distribution. I'm still on the fence... O'Malley looks promising but currently has the distribution of Olejnik. I assume that you went to sleep when O'Malley came out and collected a set piece. It wa...

Re: Posh v Northampton (Checkatrade)

Don't think it was a dive but don't think it was a stone-waller either. Just watched the extended highlights and I am sure that 9 times out of 10 that penalty would have been given. He got the ball under control, took the ball to the keeper's left and was upended by his outstretched leg. Pen for me!
