Re: Security

Hadn't noticed this but it appears in the address line for me too. I'll pop down to the club on Monday and have a word with Chris Brewer who is the 'expert' on the forum. He may of course be on holiday but I will do my best to see what is going on. Thanks for bringing this to the board's attention....

Re: Women’s World Cup

I caught the tail end on ITV + 1 when we got back from the bar, some terrible penalties at the end but the equaliser from the RofW team was excellent The celebrities were the only ones allowed to take penalties. That's why they were poor. No knocking from me as the whole idea of the game was to rai...

Re: Women’s World Cup

Womens' football is a sexist construct. There should not be separate competitions for men and women if , as women say, they should be treated equally. I agree, it would be the same as allowing Celtic or Rangers play in the English leagues an uneven playing field If you watched the England v Rest of...

Re: Women’s World Cup

It's the Women's World Cup and the standard of football is definitely NOT woeful. And it's nothing like golf. well it is woeful and guess what I do know the difference between the two sports. Who are you supporting in this? Australia of course. Only because the standard of Women's football is not w...

Re: Boris Johnson

I am not clear of the accuracy of the claim that most Londoners thought he did a good job As ever it would be good to quote the source YouGov https://yougov.co.uk/topics/politics/articles-reports/2016/05/05/mayor-boris-public-verdict His approval rating has been remarkably consistent during his sec...

Re: Boris Johnson

I can't think of 1 quality this man has, but there's so many reasons why he shouldn't be PM. It's an utter joke and the UK is guaranteed to face more instability & turmoil. I can think of many qualities he has over and above that lefty has on the other side, he’d have us sign up to the Soviet Union...

Re: Bob Higgins

Not really a matter that needs a celebratory emoji The club have done the right thing by getting their statement out quickly. Crewe Alexandra looked absolutely appalling when they seemed to be in denial about Barry Bennell after he was sentenced. I can't think of a better indication that this 'pred...

Re: Justin Edinburgh - 49

I spoke with Charlie Lee last night who needless to say was gutted. He got to know Justin very well over the season and previously spoke very well of him. Very sad, he was a good player too back in the day. :( .... and a one time possible candidate for the Posh job. Terrible news to hear of the dem...

Re: Cricket World Cup

The Aussies recover to scrape past the Windies in a closely fought game. Aussies just about deserved to win but the Windies must have thought they were playing the umps too. Pretty good game though. Did anybody see the catch that dismissed Steve Smith? http://www.espncricinfo.com/series/8039/scorec...

Peterborough by election

Significant numbers, ignoring the silly boys! Labour 10085 Brexit 9801 Conservative 7243 Liberal Democrats 4159 UKIP 400 It would help if Brexit had proper policies and were subjected to proper scrutiny. Probably the Brexit Party's last chance to become a major player. Hopefully they will just slowl...
