Re: Bolton away

Hopefully we stick with 3-5-2, not just for this game but also for next season. Hughes is a CB, not a LB. LDSL had more impact in one game as a right wing-back than as a midfielder in 40-odd other run-outs. With LDSL and Freestone playing as wing backs we'll have half a chance next time round. Free...

Re: Who goes, who stays? You decide...

Or a single start?

Looking at DMac's twitter tonight, Taylor has already left the building. Hughes and Chettle 100% staying.

Re: Emergent Football Strategy (making it up as you go)

Great opening post. Makes me chuckle when DMac retweets stuff about how blessed the fans are to have an open, honest chairman. It's all smoke and mirrors and I only take notice of what happens on the pitch now and what actual business we do. If we have another summer of bringing in players for the ...

If there was any faith in him, he'd have been in once Alnwick left and we wouldn't have wasted a chunk of the wage bill bringing in McGee.

Ricky Miller?

Wasn't good enough at Luton says my Hatters man but that was a while ago. Doesn't really fit our profile does he? 28 and all that.

If he comes in and McBurnie doesn't we might as well give up now.

Who comes in? You decide...

So I'm cashing in on Maddison. Letting Taylor go will free up some wage £££. Time to go spend some. It seems that McBurnie is coming, and quite happy to have him up front. Neil Etheridge. Best keeper outside the Championship for me. Show some ambition and go get him. Luke Berry. Kind of old school t...

Sounds like Inman's out the door from GM's pre-match chat.

Reassuring in a way that we're hearing some noises about lack of effort/motivation from players. Be very concerning if we weren't.

Possibly the most interesting summer in my 35 years of being a Poshie coming up.
