Re: Grant McCann - Manager

Plenty of other chairman have proven they're 'up to the job'.

Matthew Benham and Tony Bloom for two. Both professional gamblers. Shows how shrewd pro punters are...

Re: Grant McCann - Manager

tonyp, you're not in charge here, so maybe you could drop this new-found headmaster appraoch you've decided to adopt?

Re: anyone questioning the chairman, I don't get it at all. He's done nothing but good since he took over. End of. I disagree with his choice of managers but that's just opinion.

Re: January japery

I still feel the chairman is more interested in making a quick buck buying and selling players than he is gaining promotion. The wheels have long fallen off his sell on wagon and he doesn't have a plan B. We are a mid table ,division 1 team, with mid table ambitions and that's where we will stay unl...

There are good 2-5 shots. Then there's this one.

Re: Woking replay

Also, anyone remember Kidderminster?

Real sense of deja vu here. They came to town, we were expected to win but their star man, Joe Lolley, who was on our radar, stood out.

Joe Ward this time. No surprise if we tried to pick him up too.

Re: Woking replay

Worth remembering that Woking were the better team in the first tie, and clearly so on statistics. And that we've just been torn to shreds by Blackburn, despite what the scoreline and the blue-tinted specs brigade might say. 8-1 is a crazy price given our home record, our Tuesday record and our reco...

Re: January japery

We can't sell Marriott and we need to keep Gwion.

If Maddison or LDSL has to be sold in order to balance the books then so be it.

Re: Ricky Miller

I've never had an issue with signing from the non-league, but there aren't that many hidden gems down there. Morias turned out to be one, but I'd expect only one in around five to cut it at L1 level. Penny has a chance. Lloyd doesn't. Miller doesn't.

Re: Ricky Miller

I'd be happy with one. Marriott, Morias plus one other, with Kanu for bit parts.

A different option. Kieffer Moore, Christian Doidge.

Re: Poshies v Blackburn

'Even the starry eyed juvenile supporter would know Posh need a Manager'. And who is going to find this Manager? DMac has shown that he's not up to the job. And/or he is prepared to give McCann more time Until someone comes up with a name who would be prepared to work for/with BF and DMac we might ...

Re: Ricky Miller

Nicky Ajose and Coulimane went elsewhere and scored plenty early, but each just turned out to be no more than a purple patch.

I can't remember us ever releasing a striker incorrectly.

When Gormley goes, that will 100% be the right decision too.

Re: January japery

Need to get some money in from somewhere! One of the 'bigger' names has to go in order for more to come in.
